Steps away to Saint Lazare train station. If you like to go to Saint Michel Abbeyy and other Normandy day trips it is very convenient. Walking distance to shopping center and Big Bus tour, nice for sight seeing for the entire Paris tourist spots.

1970s horror film style
There are no air vents in the room (no AC, no heating, no air filters, nothing). We had to open our windows because it got extremely hot and stuffy. We woke up with mosquito bites all over, it was terrible. The beds are pretty rough. For the experience, I feel we should've paid half of what it actually cost. The front desk was pretty nice and the kebab place couple door down was great. The hotel itself though is pretty rough.. if you must crash there for a night, you'll survive, but I don't recommend an extended stay.

Pluses: Great staff- absolutely wonderful, gray maids- very clean, location convenient for walking, shopping, public transport, etc. Room size was on par with the price. Elevator was a plus. Minuses: Room was subpar- no A/C was expected, but there was not even a fan. The only window in the entire room was facing a courtyard surrounded on all sides by tall buildings so there was no option for airflow. Woke up every night because of excessive heat. 1 fan would have made all the difference.

I booked 2 rooms with this hotel for one night. This property has no air condition, rooms are small, and the bathrooms are tiny and very dirty. Stains all over the rooms. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is extremely outdated, the beds have stains in them as do the carpet in the room, the bathroom has no shower curtains or doors so expect the floors to be completely wet and try to avoid slipping and breaking a bone, the bathtub was dirty, furniture in the rooms are really worn, bed sheets were clean, towels were alittle stiff, bathroom would smell like urine, also the air conditioning was not working on any rooms as we had three and was advised by hotel staff that the air conditioning was not working for the entire hotel, absolutely absurd as you have windows with no mesh or protection for parents traveling with children, the furniture in the lobby was so old you can see the leather coming off the chairs, would not stay here again, there were many hotels in the area that are much nicer, cleaner and similar price range. If I could do less than a one star I would. Truly disappointing, as it was seven of us, we all had an equally uncomfortable stay.

A reasonable hotel in a good location
A good location, close to lots of Metro lines and bus stops and not far from the centre of Paris. The room was fine, except that the bed mattress was moderately uncomfortable and there were no tea-making facilities in the room. The staff were very helpful. The streets around were nice enough, with lots of places to eat.

Paris
The hotel was nice for a one night stopover. Needed a place to sleep and store luggage for touring Paris. Staff was great! Helped getting taxi to train station at the end of our stay.

Comfortable room
Clean and tidy, though room was at the front of the hotel so quite noisy, having said that, the best was very comfortable. Found the shower difficult as no shower curtain or wall mounting for the shower head.

The property was not accommodating. I booked with a partial refund policy, had to change my accommodations 5 minutes after booking and they would not honor the policy on Expedia. Also the advertised the price higher and when I booked, offered a lower rate for the same days and would not honor that as well. Absolutely horrible, would not recommend. Please stay at Hotel de Georges if you’re in Paris! They are the tops!

The hotel advertises air conditioning and they aren’t lying the room has a unit…IT DOESNT WORK! The elevator is old it got stuck twice during our stay. There’s a Tub, no shower just a tub! Because there is no a/c it’s hot we opened the one window in the room and there was construction in the middle of the night, people yelling, fighting, traffic, etc. Oh and we have mosquito bites all over BECAUSE THE AC DOESNT WORK! The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Not worth the money! Don’t fall for the advertising of having a/c. When we asked the front desk the just said, it doesn’t work. Nothing else. Worse stay ever!

Upon arrival the hotel informed us there was no AC in the hotel. I was given 2 fans for 2 rooms. This was in the middle of the Heat wave in Paris. The manager informed me that it was on the site but Expedia did not update it. Later I learned the AC was broken for over 9months. The rooms also didn’t have a freezer in them to keep food. The location is great, as the area has a Tube station directly in front of the building and plenty of food is available in the area. But it was a horrible stay. I wish I booked another hotel. If it wasn’t for my wife I would’ve argued and created a scene. But I will never return there.

My stay was ok. My family and I were in Paris August 4-8, it was hot and the room we were in had an air conditioning but ot was not working so they gave us a fan and we opened the window most of the time. Overall cleanliness was pleasing. Staff were friendly, polite and accomodating.

Excellent hotel, located min away from subway station, close to shops, restaurant, pharmacy. Very friendly staff always very courteous. Room was excellent, spacious, updated and clean. Our room had a balcony facing the street. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will recommend it to anyone. We were a family of 4, (2 adults & 2 teens), we all enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!!
