Good location in interesting neighbourhood. Metro stop not far. Good restaurants nearby. Rooms a little small but adequate. Overall a good three star choice.

Very basic and outdated
Hotel is very outdated. Rooms are very small with a tiny narrow hallway meaning navigating with a pram and luggage was difficult. Asked the hotel for an iron and they didn't have one. Beds were made each day but very basic. Wouldn't return to this hotel.

The hotel was dirty, the shower didn’t work, no air conditioning, the property is falling apart. In the middle of the summer I wouldn’t go to this place, the only source of air we had was the window (very loud outside) and one little tiny fan. The sheets were so gross, the bed cover looked like it wasn’t washed in years. Just don’t go here unless you are extremely broke and this is all you can afford.

When we arrived, the wi-fi wasn’t working and we were told they couldn’t fix it until midnight because they only have one employee working at the hotel and he couldn’t leave the desk! There is no air-conditioning, the rooms are small and cramped, there was a weird smell we couldn’t get rid of, the shower had no curtain or glass separating the tub from the rest of the bathroom, the beds were uncomfortable and the elevator was extremely small and slow. This was described as a 3-star hotel, but it really is more on par with a budget motel.

Location is good but room is old. No air conditioning in the room, so we have to open the window. The area is very noisy til 2, 3am in the morning, it was difficult to get good sleep during the stay.

Super location, 20 minute walk to the opera garnier and right across the road from a convenient Metro line. We arrived before check in and the receptionist allowed us to store our luggage until the room was ready. The hotel was older, but the triple room we booked was spacious and clean. Good value for money and I’d definitely stay here again.

Hotel has late evening noise issue
Room was clean enough, however there were issues. Plug sockets coming away from the walls, bed was broken. Biggest problem was the noise. On Friday evening all we could hear when we were trying to sleep was the noise from the bar on the same street as the hotel is on. The noise finally stopped when it close in the early hours of the morning. The windows were closed but the noise was coming through the air vents which could not be closed.

The Havane Hotel does not measure up to its description. The [picture of the spiral staircase must be years old, as it was not evident from the lobby. We were traveling with a teenager and he required an early check in. The Hotel did oblige our request with a room that was no where near the level booked. There were three beds in a room that just accommodated three beds, no space. Our booked room had AC, the room they provided had no AC.

Room is not like pictured. Moldy smell, uncomfortable bed, dirty. I left with a rash, hope it is not bed bugs. The breakfast is a joke, I didn't even bother. The reception area employees are rude and dismissive. The elevator is not for claustrophobic, neither are some rooms. If you are big or over weight discard this place. Also the metro is very near but the stop CADET doesnt really connect to much so you will have to change subways a lot. There are better places and better hotels to stay at for the same price. Enjoy your trip to Europe, and make your own decision, I can only share my experience, but your might be different.

NO AC!!! I always thought Hotels have AC..this one did not and it was very hot in Paris. Will not stay here again. Room was very small...and too much noise from street..as it did not have AC we kept windows open and it was so noise werenot able to sleep all night..

Very local! Good hotel!
Really nice hotel with some good staff, breakfast was very limited. No air conditioning in the room but can’t complain for the price. Basically you get what you pay for. Local metro station just opposite the hotel. Ten mins walk to the Eurostar train station. Few restaurants close by. Good choice of hotel.

I booked this hotel for my wife and daughters They said the room was small While out on the first day all my wife’s cash was stolen from her room. The money was in her zipped up in her case and in a file. I won’t go into all the details but my wife and daughters didn’t enjoy their short stay in Paris. The manger was not helpful and very rude and upset my wife. The money should have been in the safe but it still should have been okay we have never had this happen before.

Clean, comfortable hotel in convenient location
Clean and comfortable. Has an elevator. Free wifi worked well in and out of room. Quiet. Location was good; it felt safe and was near prime tourist spots. Near a metro. Helpful staff that speak English. Expensive by other cities' standards, but was good value by Paris standards. Wifi was free, but many other things cost extra - e.g. extra fee to use the room safe, get a fridge, eat breakfast, or store luggage on days not present. TV was small, but we didn't go to Paris to watch TV.

Great Neighborhood
Hotel Havane is close to train station and metro stops. Plenty of cafes nearby. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room is small but as expected. Breakfast offered for 10€.

Simply stylish hotel in nice area.
Great location just 10min walk from Gare du Nord station. Much shopping and grocery stores close by. Safe clean area and close to Metro or great walks to many major sights. Every street you walk is an adventure and architectural wonder! Nice hotel for families, clean and everything one needs. A very Paris feel to the hotel, simple but old classy style.

It was awful. We can't sleep at night because people on the streets drinking and talking is very loud even high heel shoes walking you can hear it! That's how bad the noise was.
