In addition to being scammed by paying TWICE for the the room, it was not cleaned. Yes you heard that right! My sister and I had prepaid for the hotel and the concierge asked for our payment without checking the that it was already covered. After charging us twice, they refused the issue a refund through the original card and through cash. They insisted on a bank wire which required our bank account number which we refused. We were not the only ones who had been scammed, there were two other families who had been scammed by the same issue in the lobby. Overall an overpriced and fraudulent hotel, which we are quite unhappy with.
The previous guests’ half used water bottles and food boxes were left on the desk and in the fridge. The walls are very thin and the rooms are so close together that you can hear everyone’s conversations. The elevator also did not work on the first floor so we had to carry our bags up a flight of stairs before getting into the elevator.
Do not stay here. We are still waiting for them to either refund or charge or tell hotels.com to refund theirs. I will update this if they take the time or trouble to resolve the double charge.
