Just passing through, we stayed one night. Didn't know what to expect on arrival. But soon realized that this place is special and amazing. The grounds are so beautiful, the staff was so nice (thanks Julianna) and the food was incredible. The room was huge. We unfortunately got the non-updated room next to the pool that was noisy during the day but super quiet at night. Breakfast and dinner was amazing and would highly recommend Costa Pacifica. Thank you all.

The staff was helpful, friendly and kind! The rooms were clean, had A/C and very spacey. The restaurant’s breakfast was delicious but the waffles were uncooked :(

pros- This hotel was conveniently located, had very kind staff and on first look seemed to have all the amenities we were looking for. Cons- 1- the wifi cut out frequently 2- the taps in the bathroom (sink and shower) never got hot or cold, they just stayed room temperature 3- the people who did our check in and check out didn't speak much English, but we got by with google translate. Not a huge deal but definitely different than other places we stayed in Costa Rica And 4- The Roosters. Every night, starting around 230 AM the roosters would start to crow and continue until morning. The room must not have been insulated well as there was 0 blocking of sound, making it sound like you had a rooster in the room with you making it impossible to sleep. Overall would not recommend.

The attention was excellent, at reception, the people who clean, the restaurant, everyone was kind and proactive. The cleaning of the rooms, swiming pool, and the gardens was excellent as well. The rooms need more maintenance. A wall in the bathroom was a little broken and the pipe to wash your hands is not tight to its position, also one of the shower doors was broken. Also we need more trees on the parking space because the cars need protection from the sun and there are just a few spaces with shadow from trees. I will also appreciate some chairs outside the rooms with garden view, so you can enjoy and stay there some time if you like.

A pleasant surprise.
We were pleasantly surprised when we happened upon hotel costa Pacífica. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Lots of space for kids to run around plus theres plenty more- swings and trampoline. The pool and hot tub were clean. The rooms were basic but clean with hot water and good AC. And it’s within a short walk to the beach. A nice place to stay for a few days.

Hotel to stop for a night
Clean room, really old decoration, small pool but clean, It looks a motel than a beach hotel. Hotel decoration or jardens not existing. It's safe, great breakfast and not so friendly staff at the reception. It's ok if you are in the road at night and just want to sleep to keep going.

The staff is great, we were looking for a good price hotel and we indeed found it but to our surprise the attention, kindness and excellent treatment of the staff was the hotel best attribute.

The standard room had dirty walls, small window, lumpy beds and pillows. Little english. Reserved two nights, asked to change rooms, took a while or them to let us go to another room. Better than first until we found the bed bugs in room 22. By then I called hotel.Com. they were real quick to give us the supior room. A lot cleaner and big, but no light near bed. There is no waterfall anymore going into dirty pool. Good side bar and bar tenders were nice and they had a great barbecue. 5 minutes to beautiful beach

OK hotel - Only get the "Superior" rooms
The Standard room that we had booked was very disappointing (poor quality bed/mattresses, small bathrooms, no hot water). We wanted to see if we can get a refund but the policy was that we would not. Then we found out that there were superior rooms available that were available that were much better. We asked the hotel for upgrading to these rooms and they allowed us to do it for no additional charge. The superior room was of decent quality although one of the rooms that our party stayed in had a blocked toilet and the bathroom and bedroom flooded as a result. The location hotel was also not very convenient as it was an hour away from the Manuel Antonio National Park and the main city of Quepos.

The staff was wonderful and the breakfast excellent...with bacon! The whole common area is run down looking as are the rooms. We bought a lightbulb for the lamp to make it lighter inside for reading at night. The room was clean enough but we had to drive for groceries. We could walk along the beach which was nice but there was nothing else to do if one didn't have a car. We would not stay there again.

Great place for a relax environment
The hotel was almost like a private location. Breakfast was great and all services were excellent. As an improvement suggestion, light in the room was not good for reading. Adding a ceiling fan to the room will be a great improvement for lighting and AC efficiency

Hotel is ok. Room, restaurant and pool area are fine. Staff is friendly, food is good. My insatisfation is the price. Rate was a little high when taking into account hotel facilities. Also the room consumables were not replenish proactibly and we had to ask for them.

Convenient location, all amenities, lackluster
This place has it all -- on paper. Swimming pool, hot tub, on-site full-service all-meal restaurant, free breakfast, air-conditioning. We were greeted with Tfriendly smiles -- Raoul at the front desk sprinted downhill to the reception area from overseeing the repair of water lines to greet us - by name! The head waiter in the restaurant, the waiters, busboys...everybody bent over backwards to be helpful. That said, all the "things" were just ok. Pool water was dirty; wifi didn't reach the rooms; a/c directed at the bed (and directionality not adjustable); our room was at the very back of the facility, facing outward to not much; and the food sounded better than it looked and tasted. So this is a place I'd suggest for an overnight if you had to break your trip in Esterillos, but I don't recommend a longer stay.

Muy buena experiencia.
Una estadía muy agradable. Amenidades excelentes para las familias con mascotas ya que disponen de áreas exclusivas para disfrutar y nos pueden acompañar en la habitación. Definitivamente volveremos. La playa está a 10 minutos caminando.

Superbe.... rien a redire tout est super bien... le personnel gentil... un grand jardin , une piscine de bonne taille avec un jacuzzi, les chambre sont entièrement restaurée. Billard, babyfoot, table de ping-pong. Zero défauts. On devais passé une nuit au finales on en a repris 3. A 200m de la plage esterillos qui est pour nous une des plus belle
