“Chose this spot as a place to stay overnight before visiting Elafonisi Beach. Nice suite for a little mountain getaway. Met some nice people and the host was very friendly. No amenities in the village so you need to drive about 5 minutes to get some food. Some good places to eat nearby. The only complaint would be some noisy neighbours who were up until 2am stomping around doing who knows what. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.”

“The property was beautiful, clean and well equipped lovely products in the bathroom, fresh towels and great breakfast. Maria and Nikos were the perfect Cretan host with all the warmth and kindness that only the Cretan’s can offer . We temporarily lost our car key they jumped to help us, collecting us from the salt lake pouring balm ( wine ) to soothe our troubles and then returning us to the salt lake and our vehicle , once we had realised we had stashed the key in a beach shoe thank you guys……

“L’hébergement sentait un produit type xylophene pour tuer les insectes présents dans le bois des charpentes par exemple et cela nous a donné mal à la tête nous avons ouvert toute la nuit portes et fenêtres en vain . Sinon l’endroit est exceptionnel Beaucoup de travail pour aménager ce lieu La route pour y accéder est très longue et finit par une piste de 3 km Une fois que vous êtes arrivés il y a un restaurant et comme vous êtes obligé de louer pour 2 nuits vous devez passer par leur restaurant……

“One of the best family and regional small hotel we have visited in 20 years in Crete. They really are very small hotel, familial style but they do their best to provide high level services: multiple pool, breakfast, sun towels. Amazing quality for price. I rarely write reviews but their work needs to be recognized. The only con of this hotel, despite what is written on Hotels.com, it's very remote in the moutain and far from Paleochora, so I recommend if you need to rest 2-3 days in a super……

“Friendly staff at the front desk and bar! They stayed late for us to check in and gave great local recommendations at the bar! Only issue with staff is we had a house keeper walk into our room without approval at 9:30 in the morning. It was a little sketchy! Pool looked nice but never used! Did get bit by something while there…could be mosquitoes or the other something else…never seen the actual bugs but had the bites….other than that, the place did seem clean, nice shower! “Das äußerst herzliche Personal hat uns das Pech mit dem Wetter vergessen lassen. Die Zimmer sind alles andere als modern, aber urig und sehr sauber, nichts fehlt. Das Frühstück wird umfangreich und liebevoll am Tisch serviert, Sonderwünsche kein Problem, Ausblick ein Traum. Anfahrt ist v.a. bei Gegenverkehr eine Herausforderung, da schmale Straße bis hoch auf den Berg. Trotz sicher infrastruktureller Herausforderung sind Warmwasser & Wasserdruck in der Dusche kein Problem und auch das Wlan /……

“We were initially disappointed to hear a week before arrival that the honeymoon suite was unavailable due to repairs, but what followed was nothing short of wonderful. Our replacement room was beautiful, and the moment we saw those dramatic, serene mountain views, any lingering "what ifs" melted away. It’s the perfect escape to slow down and breathe. Even the winding, adventure-filled drive there makes the arrival feel earned. The food was another major highlight with fresh, healthy breakfasts……
