Nice pool outside but a bit cold 😆 Good playground for kids. Rooms look a bit like last century and WiFi very poor. Didn’t eat dinner there as it seemed pricey and went to a great local place downtown called Sidreria- best food we had since arriving in Spain! Its peak season but the hotel should be under 100 euros or USD for what it is .

Bikers around Spain.
Travelling in a family group of motorcyclists. Easy to find, loads of parking and a secure area. Staff really helpful. Our accents were new to them so our little Spanish was useful. Great place to sit in or outside for food. Easy walk to Gijon harbour and bars. If you are looking for a starting point after your ferry docks, it’s what you are looking for.

Excellent stay.
Great hotel with good location with professional & courteous staff. Excellent restaurant. Best tuna we've ever eaten. Our room on top floor did need air con in hot weather & guests should be aware that hotel caters for groups of youngsters who might be noisy at times, though not a problem for us. We would definately stay again.

Nice hotel BUT...
We picked a double bed but only after hitting the "book" button is there a mention that it isn't guaranteed. When we arrived we were told none were available but we would have to pay an extra 12 euros for a double - they only have two standard doubles - and the hotel was pretty empty!!

Mr. Laurence. Thank you very much for your comments. After your comments to Isabel (at the reception in your leaving day) I made an investigation to know what happened. We never guarantee double bed or two single beds in our double rooms unless you phone directly to the Hotel, so about your first coment is something that Expedia should fix as soon as they can. But the rest it´s our commitment and we failed. So, I can only say that we´re very sorry for the trouble and I know that it´s not for the 12,00 € but for the gesture. If for any reason you come back here you´ll have a Superior room with a double bed and Standard price. Very sorry for the inconveniences and best wishes. Moisés

Pleasant place to spend the night
GPS system brought us in the back way as we had chosen shortest route, uncertain as we followed it, but arrived right on the mark. Desk attendent very helpful, room was large, bathroom great with shower or bath option. Tv included music stations, restaurant very pleasant and outside seating an option..

Great Family Hotel
Fantastic Experience with the family. Hotel in a very convenient location to move to Oviedo, Agiles and Gijon. Hotel staff and owner are supper friendly. The hotel has a lot of history and spedial details full of Spanish culture.

great, if you can avoid weddings
Very good value for money, friendly and conveniently located for both Gihon and the Cabo Penes peninsula. However, the hotel appears to be favoured by wedding parties; and Spanish weddings, as we discovered much to our chagrin, are a very long and VERY LOUD affair. Just make sure that no wedding parties are planned for the dates of your booking.

Tanto el hotel como el restaurante están muy bien, he echado en falta un lugar de estar para los huéspedes, ya que el tiempo no ha acompañado todos los días, así que la opción era estar metidos en la habitación.

Es la segunda vez que vamos, la anterior vez tenian muchos mas detalles, cafe de maquina de bar en el desayuno, ahora maquina dw polvos, zumo recien exprimido naranja, ahora zumo de tetabric, antes cestas de polvorones en recepcion y bar, ahora nada, etc... Antes habia una chica, super atenta y era la que lo llevaba todo, antes era como estar en casa,ahora se nota mas frio

Nos alojamos una noche en régimen de media pensión. La habitación es amplia y cómoda. El baño con bañera de hidromasaje limpio y grande. Se echa a faltar más enchufes en la habitación, solo disponíamos de uno en el baño. El sitio donde está el hotel es precioso y tranquilo, un poco difícil de localizar pero con bonitas vistas. Lo peor...la cena ..un menú de mediodía con una ensalada del mar a la que añadieron berberechos y mejillones según salieron de la lata, aunque los segundos y el postre estaban ricos. Destacar la mala atención y los modales de la camarera que nos atendió.

Besser als erwartet - rundum glücklich
Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet, mit Balkon, ebenso liebevoll wie der Rest des Hauses. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Man kann in der Umgebung spazieren gehen oder kilometerweit an der Küste entlang joggen. Es waren genug freie Parkplätze vorhanden. Da relativ wenig Gäste da waren, gab es zum Dinner kein Buffet sondern ein 4-Gänge-Menü mit Wahlmöglichkeit. Das Essen war sehr lecker, auch das Frühstück war lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war unschlagbar (Anfang Juni)! Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder dort übernachten.

Nos quedamos en la casona y nuestra habitacion fue comoda y amplia. El hotel esta bien ubicado. En apenas 15 minutos pudimos caminar al centro de Candas. La unica pequena queja seria que el desayuno no incluye huevos Recomendado.

Hôtel très propre, accueil très agréable, don, Miguel un jeune homme qui fait l'effort de parler français et qui n'a pas hésité à me poser des questions pour améliorer son français. plusieurs types de chambres sont proposés simple, avec balcon, ou bien encore dans les horreos rénovés, ces batissent montées sur pilotis servait autrefois de grenier, elles sont de forme carrée et en bois. Ma chambre 1 personne était un chambre mansardée avec déco on ne peu plus simple,mais très propre. les bâtiments sont immenses et là la déco est très sympa, on peu disposer d'une piscine, d'une aire de jeu pour enfant, d'un jardin paysager, d'une grande terrasse où l'on peut dîner. Le petit déjeuner et copieux, le café correct. le parking gratuit est grand et dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel. la mer à 15 mn avec ses criques sauvages.

Pasamos solamente una noche y nos sirvió para decir que fue una gran experiencia. Habitación amplia, cama comoda, persona super agradable, el desayuno muy variado. La piscina tenia una temperatura epectacular. En general una muy buena experiencia.

la habitación no era lo contratado. no tenia ventana ni terraza. a pesar de haberlo preguntado y pedido y que en la documentación así lo ponía me dicen que no es así y uno por otros... una habitación en la buhardilla con un tragaluz en el techo sin ningún tipo de vista y desahogo....
