Don't get fooled by the pictures
I wasn't pleased with this accommodation at all. The room is dirty. Chickens in front of the hotel wake you up at 4am. Water leaks from the sink. The staff didn't know the length of my stay. Couldn't get hot water. Only the upside was people in the area. At the end, I was so done with guest house.

The manager tried to make me pay again after I had shown him both the hotels.com reservation as well as my bank statement confirming that the money had been taken out of my account. When the sink turned on, water would flow out from under the base.

Mahotesol

A reasonably priced guest house for a short stay
I got a room with most of necessities like an AC, a fan and water bottles. Also, there are nice restaurants (Khmer, Chenese, etc.), pharmacies and an international grocery store in a walkable distance. The place was not excellent, but it is a nice place to stay if you want to enjoy Phnom Penh on a tight budget.
