“False advertises as a villa. It is just a standard apartment style condo. Charged both cards I had on file with the full price of my stay for no apparent reason. It was eventually returned 3 days after my vacation was over. Do not give them more than one card to have on file or they will try to sneak an extra charge. The staff that assisted me with the issue was super nice and professional. Would not recommend”

“This was a fantastic option for a dog-friendly stay, near the Dog Beach. Made-to-order breakfast was included with the stay, which was a perk for our large group. The lawn was a little tall where the dogs are expected to go out. This deters our small dogs, from using the space, but they used it reluctantly. Also our rooms weren’t cleaned, during our stay. We did request new towels at one point. Overall, the stay was great. The staff was friendly. Our dogs were welcomed. I would recommend this……

“We chose Sandpiper Beacon because we wanted a hotel with convenient, direct beach access. The location is definitely the best part—the beach is just steps away, there are plenty of activities for kids, and the ocean view from our ground-floor room was beautiful. Unfortunately, the property itself was much more run-down than we expected. Many areas felt outdated and in need of maintenance. “They do not care if someone is smoking! Our son is allergic to smoke & we had to deal with people smoking non stop next door for 3 nights! The smoke came into our room so heavy we had to turn on our car and put him in it, (he is 13) every AM! We told the office the entire time and NOTHING was done!! They didn’t offer another room, OR come and confront the people chain smoking 24/7!! We come there a lot, but this may be our last!”
