We loved our stay at Kwa Maritane. The food, rooms, services and game drives were amazing and would highly recommend. The only downside was we had booked on a Boma dinner for the Wednesday night, which is subject to numbers. We were informed there were not enough numbers and it was not going ahead. This was disappointing but understandable. However, when we were on that evening game drive, a family next to us said how excited they were for the boma dinner and were picked up for it at the end of the drive. When back at the hotel, that family shared photos of the boma with us, which looked amazing. We spoke to the reception staff, who continued to claim the boma did not go ahead despite us knowing of another family who were on it. That was the only frustration in the trip. Would still highly recommend this hotel for the Pilanesberg safari experience.

Excellent stay at Kwa Maritane. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Only downside was the guided game drive. Trucks carry up to 22 people, we preferred the self drive option around the game park where we could take our time, stop when we wanted to and not struggle to see animals and birds through other guests on the truck!

A wonderful peaceful location, where the the wild animals of The Pilanesberg Park come to you. Good food, service and accommodation in a dream setting. We will return.

Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Food was fantastic and location perfect for a wild game adventure. Only dislike was the queueing for the buffet but then you are on holiday so what is the rush.
