“Clean and quiet”

“The hotel was beautifully decorated and clean. The divided queen room with shared bathroom was perfect for two women traveling together. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options. If you aren’t an early riser, ask for a room not facing east as the sun is bright and comes through the plantation shutters early and strong.”

“I wish the toilets were a little higher. People with bad knees have trouble standing up from a lower bent position. I didn’t like that the AC cycled off and on during the night. I like it cold to sleep and even with the setting at 68 it got warm enough to have to remove the heavy blanket. The height of bed was difficult to get into for someone who is not tall with bad knees and back. The woman at the desk was excellent in coming up to our room to show us how to use the remote. “A couple of minor issues - when I checked in there was a cigarette butt on the floor and almost no toilet paper. Other than that, the room was fine and a good value.”

“I have stayed at this property many times but this is the first time since it became a Travelodge. The experience was not so good. Upon check in they demand an HSF Eco fee of $2. Not a lot, but the Expedia fee is supposed to include all taxes and fees. The property seems to have many long term residents with BBQ outside their rooms. The gardens don't seem to be maintained. I think there are other choices nearby that may be better.”
