"We stayed at Mariposa when we arrived to Placencia and the last night before we returned home and it was perfect. Gladis was very welcoming at the reception, Donny was amazing at the restaurant and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bungalow was perfect for our family of 4, since they have bunk beds. The restaurant was good with a nice view of the ocean. They have nice swings, volleyball court, paddle boards and bicycles which is perfect to go in town. It’s less than 5 minutes drive from Placencia airport. The only thing is the ocean has so much seaweeds that it wasn’t nice to go in the water. Which is fine since we didn’t stay at this hotel for the ocean but just be aware that this strip of the island gets a lot of seaweeds…"

"We had an amazing time at Sirenian Bay. We stayed in the off season which made it feel like we had the whole resort to our selves at times. Everyone was so kind and helpful. There were people maintaining the grounds at all times which shows they really care about their little slice of heaven. The food was super fresh and always delicious. We enjoy our morning routine of jogging, then picking up fresh fruits and vegetables from the local markets—all just a five-minute walk away. The numerous nearby restaurants are also a huge plus. The staff consistently provides exceptional service, with Kendra at the front desk being particularly outstanding. When I accidentally left my passport in our room, she immediately took charge of the situation. She arranged for a driver who was already heading to Belize to turn around, retrieve my passport, and deliver it to me in Belize City. We're already planning to return next summer."

"What an amazing place! Villas are in a perfect location and very clean. Beach is well maintained even though sargassum was present during our stay, they worked very hard to keep it clean. Food and drinks were top notch. Easy bike ride to village or shuttle service each hour after certain times."
