Beautiful cabin in the woods, yet just a couple of miles from restaurants. Lots of hiking which was why we were there. Clean cabin, easy checkin/checkout process. Good WiFi. Home away from how feel. Definitely recommend!

Nice, quiet dog-friendly location
Great spot to enjoy Vermont. Quiet, secluded spot among the trees with quaint nearby towns and trails to explore. Several trails and local eateries/stores (including Ludlow’s main grocery store) were still closed due to damage from July 2023 flooding. Charming towns in all directions from this location with Woodstock, Rutland, and Killington all within a 30-45 minute drive. House had sufficient space for 4-6 people with big yard for pet, fire pit, throwing a baseball around, etc. Highlight for us was viewing surrounding Green Mountains and fall colors from the 60-foot tall fire tower atop Okemo Mountain and enjoying local craft brews at Off the Rails tap house. Would stay again!

Great chalet convenient to much to do in Vermont
We were in Vermont for a visit with our two granddaughters, one from NH and one from northern CT. We hiked many beautiful trails, saw many beautiful waterfalls and visited Simon Pearce! So much to do! Everything was perfect!

Amazing house for VT getaway
House was extremely clean and had everything you could need. Great location close to ski mts and was the perfect size house! The hosts were very quick in responding and I highly recommend this house. Very private and quiet which was awesome!

Great stay!
My two friends and I had a wonderful weekend in Vermont with this as our home base. The set-up was perfect and the kitchen stocked with every cooking utensil we could have wanted. The front porch was the perfect spot for conversation over coffee, too. The directions were spot on and communication with our hosts was easy and lovely.

Great getaway
We went in May and not during ski season. The property is in a great location for getting away. There was a small hitch with the electronic keypad not working, and there is no cell service in the area, but used the property wifi to communicate with the property managers who were prompt at responding and had an immediate back-up plan. Appreciated all the games, the kitchen utensils and silverware and the nice decor of the house that made you feel at home. Overall a great stay.

The house was perfect and immaculately clean when we arrived. Unfortunately though when the snow melted outside there was lots of dog poop visible. This isn’t the owners fault just sad that previous renters didn’t clean up after their dogs.

Incredible Chalet for a wonderful stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Big Foot Ski Chalet. It was well-equipped, clean, cozy and in a perfect location. Thank you for allowing pets. Our Scooby had a great time in the snow. Rob and Rebecca are great hosts and very responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

This was a great property. Very pleased with the amenities. Lots of towels, kitchen supplies (coffee, tea, vegetable oil, crockpot, etc). Great communication with the owner. We had one glitch that the owner hopped on quickly and remedied to our satisfaction. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this very cozy, clean and beautiful home. We enjoyed a bit of everything this home and location had to offer.
