Nice place to stay
Plenty of space for our family of 7. We spent our time at Olympic National Park and also visited the Dungeness Spit. For those cooking their own meals, there are plenty of dishes. Oil, salt and pepper, 2 coffee samples, tea bags and sweetner packets. I suggested that they leave instructions for the alarm. Deer in the yard on several occasions.

2nd trip
This is the second trip we made to Port Angeles, WA and 2nd time we stayed at this house. We would never consider staying anywhere else! It is perfect!! The outside is in great shape. Love the deer strolling through the yard, the trees that add privacy, the large yard to play soccer, and there is that mountain out the living room large pane glass windows. Beautiful!! The Inside is spacious. Never felt crowded although there was 6 adults and 2 children. We had 1 twin bed and two bunk beds that we never used. The kitchen is roomy and has many appliances. We need to book our trip again!!!

Nice place but not so clean
We really liked the house itself, spacious and open plan. Quiet and lots of privacy. Well stocked kitchen. But the house is dusty, cob webs and beds are not made. Although the bathrooms are clean. It's just 45 min drive to lake crescent and Olympic national park. Very convenient.

Incredibly peaceful stay in the wilderness
Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely stay here again. You’re surrounded by peaceful woods with deer and birds close by. Grounds are well kept with ample room to play. Beware of the holes. If you’re playing soccer or frisbee, invariably someone will fall in one of these and possibly sprain an ankle. Home is so spacious. We’re are a family of four but easily A much larger group could stay. The home is so beautiful, we loved our stay! Be warned - don’t look underneath the beds, thick layer of dust and candy / sprinkles everywhere. So the dust levels really high and if you have seasonal allergies, expect to be popping a lot of antihistamines to survive the nights. There are ants roaming around as well but they didn’t seem to bother us too much. Overall, wonderful stay!

Awesome location
The house is located in a great place. I travel a lot for work and this house is one the quietest places I've stayed in. Large space for all the family. Well stocked and very clean. The property is located close to Port Angeles and there is easy access to the Olympic mountains & parks. From the living room windows we watched deer and had a great view of the mountains (when the weather allowed). When I return to Port Angeles I will definitely see if the house is available.

This was a great property
Great property overall. We stayed December 22nd-31st. I gave it a 4 star review because there was 2 issues that made our 10 day stay a little challenging. 1st the night we arrived there was no hot water. My husband (who is an electrician which we didn’t tell the host because who wants to work on vacation) discovered an electrical issue with the hot water heater that was a fire hazard! The inside panel was scorched! He also found a screwdriver inside the panel. So it looks like This was a known problem that could’ve ended badly. It took 2 days to get hot water. The second problem was the snow. It snows in Port Angeles about 1-2 days of winter. Well, we got dumped on on Christmas Eve! We were snowed in because one of our rental cars didn’t do very good in the snow. So we had to rely on my brother in laws 4x4 and our other 4 wheel drive rental vehicle. We had to contact the host to remove the snow. They didn’t even leave a shovel. Overall the property was spacious and had a beautiful Mountain View. Our large family fit comfortably. I would rent this property again.

Really a great retreat
We gathered to attend a wedding in Sequim. The house was beautiful, clean and located in a beautiful, quiet wooded area. There were so many windows from which we watched deer walking through the property. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice (plus there is an extra half bath in the laundry area) check in and check out process was really easy. We all agreed that we wished we could have stayed longer at this wonderful property.

Property was clean, arrangements successful and location beautiful. A bit difficult to find--perhaps a bigger sign out front? A few bulbs needed replacing and upstairs master shower would go hot and cold depending on what was happening elsewhere. Other than those minor things, it was excellent!

Great House With A Few Issues
We loved the location, house layout, games for the teens, clean beds and polished floors. We had plenty of hot water, no issues like others have mentioned, and were very thankful for the air conditioning. We disliked not receiving our entry code until the morning of the reservation as we were loaded and on our way and arriving at a house that was 85 degrees inside when we entered it. Biggest concerns though...while it was easy to contact the main Vacasa phone number prior to travel and while at the house, the promised phone calls on all three of our contacts while at the house never happened from the local team. Thankfully they were for minor things like the DVD/TV having no signal and no directions and needing help which meant we could never use it despite an hour of trying but the lack of response did not instill confidence that they would help us if we had a serious issue. Speaking of which, the deadbolt on the kitchen door (only external door on the upper level) did not turn when the latch was turned creating a fire hazard that needs to be addressed! We were also disappointed with dirty walls, dirty small appliances and dirty cooking dishes in the cupboards. While this was our favorite VRBO layout of a house so far for our large family, this was not our favorite VRBO due to the inability to reach the local team for help, the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen area and the hazard the faulty deadbolt created.

Great location. Quiet and large enough for our group.
Arrived just before 4pm for check-in and cleaning lady was still finishing up cleaning the house. Had to wait outside for 15-20 minutes for her to finish. She left trash by the garage along with her cleaning supplies, which remained there until sometime Sunday. Floor was dirty when we initially went into the house, dishes left in the dishwasher, steamer pot in the cupboard held used/murky water from previous use. Previous renters left ruts in the yard next to the driveway that we found when we arrived. No hot water Monday morning and we had to figure out how to reset the water heater in order to get some luke warm water before we left. There were plenty of beds for our group and plenty of towels for all. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was adequate. Location was quiet and in close proximity to our event location. Was relatively easy to find. Grocery stores were just a short drive away.

Lots of open space
Our family of five enjoyed our weekend getaway. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and still be able to come together in big open areas. E enjoyed running around the yard and playing in the recently fallen snow. We weren’t able to go hiking or to any nearby trails, as the snow was actively falling heavily. There was a Safeway close that we were able to do grocery shopping at to stock the house and cook everything right there.

The Christmas House
Wow! The house was beautiful and a great place for our family to celebrate an early Christmas. With your maps and direction the house was easy to find. The driveway lead us through a wooded area and opened to the two story house. Inside we found large spacious rooms. The kitchen was large and had many kitchen tools for our cooks. The living room has a beautiful fireplace to keep us toasty. The room was large enough for everyone to watch some of the DVD's or playing one of the board games that we found. The dining room table is adjacent, where other people played card games or put together puzzles. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms was well kept and clean. That is just the upstairs. Downstairs was another large game room for the noisier group. This floor housed the kids in bunk beds which they enjoyed. The Beds are comfortable and everything is clean. The house also has a washer and dryer that came in handy. Outside the back door we found a yard big enough for the kids to play soccer, Frisbee, or boomerang. the background of this yard was the Olympic National Park. Gorgeous! We could also view the Mountain from the living room through large plate glass windows. Awesome to wake up to! The location was perfect for us. Town was just a short distance for any needs you had. During our week stay we took day trips to the snow covered Hurricane Ridge, the Hoh rainforest, Lake Crescent, Salt Creek, Madison Falls, a lighthouse, and Port Angeles pier. Thanks VACASSA!!
