Munjoy Hill- Immaculately restored antique 1874 New Englander with private patio

All that Portland has to offer is a 2-15 minute walk away; Eastern Promenade -beach, kayak rental, Bayside breweries, Historic Old Port. Just steps to live theater, top restaurants, gourmet markets. Play ocean-side tennis/pickle ball, basketball or take the kiddos to the playground at the end of Turner St- 2 blocks. Park your car when you arrive and then forget about it!

Immaculate, colorful, comfortable home combining antique pieces with updated amenities. Located in Portland's most desirable neighborhood.

Brand new, large, custom, classic style kitchen with separate pantry/coffee station/toaster/microwave. This house is a year round home and is well stocked cookware, spices, baking ingredients, popcorn popper, Instant Pot, lobster pot, baking tins, etc. Gorgeous granite countertops, stainless appliances with bar stool seating. Help yourself to fresh herbs from the kitchen window box.

Comfortable and private cobblestone patio surrounded with lush, established perennial flower gardens. Perfect for your morning coffee, catching up, napping, grilling , dining and sitting under the stars. Do some birdwatching right from your seat as the birds frolic in the fountain birdbath, birdhouses and multiple feeders.

Bright, cheerful living room that features high end, American made furniture with solid traditional construction and down wrapped cushions to sink into. Gather, read and relax around the enameled cast iron wood stove. Wrap up with super soft Lands End sofa throw blankets as the evening cool sets in off the ocean.

Spacious mahogany dining room with antique table and hutch with serving plates.

Original and antique art is displayed throughout the house; much of it by New England and local Maine artists.

Bedrooms ( with antique dressers for your use) are spacious and sunny and feature original wide pine floors. Eastern /morning side bedroom has black out shades to allow you the option of sleeping in. Comfy, New England made mattresses, crisp white sheets, cotton blankets, along with varied, fluffy pillows = a great nights sleep!

Two full bathrooms with custom tile showers. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the upstairs, restored, original, cast iron tub with ball and claw feet. Be sure to warm up your towel on the towel warmer first!

Great historic home
The house was perfect for our stay. Very clean and comfortable, and we loved how close we were to walk to everything. Restaurants and bakeries around the corner and the ocean and town down the hill. The cute courtyard was great for hanging outside. Beautiful updated kitchen and bathrooms. Great communication with the homeowner, easy check in and check out. We enjoyed our stay in Portland!

Great
It was an amazing location and a very charming property. The power went out for a couple minutes while we were there and the owner picked up the phone right away, was already aware of the problem and on the phone with the city. It was resolved right away but more than that, her responsiveness made me feel much more comfortable. It's an old (but very well maintained) house, so it was high in character and charm but being older the architecture is not perfect for young kids, so the owner made sure we had baby gates, a high chair, and a list of kid friendly activities in the area to make it as comfortable for our group as possible. The patio and gardening were especially nice and made for a very welcoming environment. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was walking distance to the ocean, restaurants, activities, and a couple markets. It was great.
