Love this place.
This place was cute, clean and unique. Beautiful views of Grand Lake, our favorite spot was the love seat down by the water, very comfy. They had everything you would need. We will visit again when in the area. Thank you.

Wallpaper pealing off the walls. Mold on the walls of the bathroom. Holes in the floor. Should be condemned.

Sorry your stay at the Grand Lake Resort was not to a 5 out of 5. Room 6 that you stayed does not have wallpaper (room has shiplap & bathroom is tile). And although the Resort is not perfect and still needs lots of work, I would argue that it needs to be condemned.

The room was very comfortable, quiet, and the clubhouse had everything that we needed. Parking was easy out front and the view of the lake was spectacular.

Great little out of the way place. Do yourself a favor and stay here if in area. Woodys Restaurant 2 miles away was a great surprise. Wonderful food

I liked the setting very well. The only thing lacking were electrical outlets. It would have been nice if there was one in the bathroom. It was kind of an inconvenience trying to use a curling iron. Other than that, it was very clean and the view was outstanding. I would recommend it to my friends.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. However the beds were not very comfortable. The door to the bathroom would also not stay latched. We had to travel approximately 30 minutes to find a restaurant. By the time we got back to the room it was getting late and we could not get the tv to work the remote did not work properly

Sorry you visit wasn't a 5 out of 5. Thank you for letting us know about the bathroom door latch, we will get someone to look at immediately. There are restaurants that are much closer than 30 minutes we have them listed on a sandwich board at the office & on our web page. Sorry about the TV issues. We would have gladly came to the room and fixed the remote if we had been informed of the issue.

Grand indeed!
Wonderful location on Grand Lake! We had breakfast on a lakeside picnic table, it was wonderful! We were just passing through on our way to the UP but would love to come back and stay! Our room was super clean and well decorated. We love it when we find a great pet friendly hotel, they can be hard to come by!

The room was very clean! It was a small room, but we had a fridge and microwave.... it was perfect for what we needed. Very friendly. We didnt get a chance to walk around, but it is on the water. We will definitly stay there again.

It was great, we enjoy our selves very much. The owners are wonderful people. The rooms are really nice small but it was nice. There community room is awesome. Love the wood work.I recommend it to any one. Right on the lake. View is beautiful, sorry I didn't take pictures but I will next time

Located on a beautiful inland lake with picnic tables, etc. Staff are available, ask if you need anything, rooms are spotless, etc. Northern Michigan at its best. Ten minute drive to Presque Isle State Harbor (charter fishing available) and historic lighthouses on Lake Huron.

Not sure why this is called a resort but it was a nice place to stay. There is a community room with a full kitchen and tables and chairs you can use. The room was very small but well decorated and clean. Our room had a view of the lake where chairs were available to sit. Some rooms do not have a full on lake view.

Sweet Place to Stay
We totally enjoyed our stay at Grand Lake Resort. The bed was so comfortable, the room was quiet, the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and the property was very nice. We used the grill to make supper one night and the clubhouse (which is brand new and about to open) was convenient with fridges and a sink for dishes. It will be a great asset to the property in the near future.

Hidden secret
Owner was very kind. Room was clean and looked up to date. Lake was clean and is easy access. The common area was very roomy. Had walk in shower and water was warm and the pressure was fine, compared to other reviews that said it wasn’t. I would go back to this place. I have been to many different places, high end and not. This place met my standards.

A pleasant surprise- cute rooms, very clean, tho new clubhouse under construction. Steps to get in lake need work. Beautiful setting and owners and staff very friendly. Best of all- a nice place that allows dogs. We really our stay.
