This is a unique property since it is located in a small village. We wanted a more authentic experience and that is what we got - the property is visited by local clientele on a daily basis since it has a restaurant and brewery. We traveled with my parents and stayed in a family apartment. One room had 2 king-sized beds (no closets). The other room was smaller with a set of bunk beds and an en suite (no closets). The 2nd bedroom with the en suite could have been better set up if it had a double bed instead of bunks. But, my parents made it work for them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Nice German country style
Basic room, but in excellent condition and very clean, and good value. Nice quiet country style, just what we were looking for. Run their own brewery, can’t beat that!

Excellent Hotel off A24, between Berlin/Hamburg
We were visiting Berlin for a couple of days, but had our flight back to Boston from Hamburg and were looking for a place to stay a bit closer to Hamburg. We booked the hotel at about 10 pm while still in Berlin. The hotel was slightly over 1.5 hrs north of Berlin. After a pleasant experience boking via Orbitz, we called the hotel to inform we will be arriving late. Unfortunately, I was not able to communicate in German. After a couple of attempts, I texted arrival time using google translate. After we took the exit off A24, we had to travel deserted road for a few miles (it was almost midnight). Barring just a couple of cars that passed by there were no signs of life. With my wife and 15 year old child, I was a bit concerned where I was headed to. It was very quite all around when we arrived at the hotel. I tried calling the hotel number, which was apparently forwarded to the owners number. Fortunately a guest (who could speak English) stepped out for a smoke. The hotel owner soon arrived r and guided us to a nice comfortable 2 room suite ( I think we got an upgrade!). He was en elderly gentleman and was able to convey where breakfast will be served in the morning etc. It was well past midnight by now. We got up in the morning and enjoyed the breakfast and headed to Hamburg airport. The hotel had a very nice backyard with a colorful fishes swimming in a pond. We would have liked to spend more time exploring the rustic neighborhood.

We had an overnight stay on the way from Sweden to Austria. we arrived late and had to leave early. The staff kindly prepared breakfast ahead of the regular Schedule. Rooms simple but Clean. Bathroom nice.

Gutes Gasthaus, mit großem Garten und reichlich Parkplatz. sehr freundliches Personal. Ausstattung der Zimmer war gut, die Betten bequem, mit vernünftigen Matratzen. Haustierfreundliches Haus.

Grosses geräumiges Familienzimmer. Sauber mit vernünftigen Betten und schönem Bad. Es fehlt eine Komode oder ein Schrank. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig. Die Schnitzel im Restaurant sind super.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht für 80€ ,sind dann umquartiert worden wegen unseren kl. Hund .Gleichte ehern einer kammer in den fenstern kam sogut wie kein tageslicht rein musste man am hellerlichten tag licht anmachen ,möbel alt .Das einzige was gut war ,war das Bad .Bloss gut das wir nur eine Nacht da waren .Für das zimmer hätte ich noch nicht mal 50€ bezahlt .Das erst zimmer entsprach schon ehern 80€ ,schön licht durchflutet doppelt so gross usw.Die zimmer waren ehern für Bauarbeitern ,die nur zum schlafen kommen . Terasse ungepflegt ,wände haben grünspan usw.

Lage gut, sehr freundlicher Service. Eigene Brauerei, eigenes Restaurant, leckere Schnitzel. Zimmereinrichtung, Betten sehr einfach. Frühstücksbuffet um 9.30 Uhr leider schon nicht mehr nachgefüllt.
