Discover "La Ruine"!

In a green environment, close to beaches and shops, with WI-FI included, this freshly restored and tastefully decorated house has been designed to make your stay enjoyable!

The house is independent, it has an enclosed garden (except for animals) and a private heated above-ground swimming pool (from May 4 to September 28). From your sunbathing, you can contemplate the different animals present around the garden.

Very well equipped to receive children and babies (games, bed, high chair, deckchair, WC reducer, potty, stroller ..)

The house consists of a large living room and an equipped kitchen on the ground floor. Upstairs, a bathroom, a large landing and two beautiful bedrooms.

From October to April, you can enjoy the wood stove for pleasant evenings by the fire. A small amount of wood is offered, additional wood can be requested (10 € per wheelbarrow).

Household and bath linen (duvets, pillows, tea towels, towels and bath mats) included in the delivery.
Sheets with supplement (15 € / bed, beds made on arrival).

Heating not included, this is billed at the end of the stay according to actual consumption (a specific meter is installed in the house).
Depending on the weather and the desired comfort, the heating supplement was between 12 € and 51 € per week (October 2017 ---> April 2018)

Cleaning included, however, the house must be put away when you leave.

Ideally located with beaches and shops accessible in 10 minutes.

House classified 3 stars by Manche Tourisme and 3 ears of corn by Gîtes de France.

Relaxing Holiday
The property is very nice, all you will need is there, it is extremely well equipped and It is very child friendly. The animals and the interaction with them is such a lovely bonus and made the kids so excited. The host is very helpful and very friendly. Would def recommend staying there.

Fantastic! Just fantastic!
We absolutely loved this place. Beautiful location and property was excellent. Close to lots of gorgeous beaches after a short drive. Owner very friendly and communicative. A real gem. We loved our stay. The kids loved the pool and the goats. We have a rule to stay in a place only once but this one would really tempt us!

Fantastic gite for a family, quiet countryside location and only a short 12 min drive to the beaches
Great place, would highly recommend. Quality of the renovated ruin was fantastic. Very clean and well kitted out. Had everything our family needed including cot, baby bath, toys, outdoor swings, heated pool, and cows, goats, sheep and chickens all on your doorstep, to our daughters delight! Lots of beaches are a short 12-15 min drive away. The zoo is also about 15 mins away. We bought our own towels which I'd recommend to do so then you can use the gite towels for the pool/beach. The weather in the morning was cloudy but come 12pm the afternoon and evenings were always sunny blue skies. Sylvian the host was good at communicating and answering questions. Great place and a great host!

Perfect Gite in great location
This is a great little gite, brilliantly renovated with a lovely heated pool which was perfect for relaxing after a good day sightseeing. The gite is located in a lovely rural location but is close enough to the pretty beaches and is in a good location for travelling to Normandy's many places of interest such as Mont Saint Michel to the south and D-Day beaches / museums and Bayeux tapestry to the north. Owner is friendly and helpful and my daughter loved feeding the goats in the owners neighbouring field. A great holiday had by all.

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in dem Haus von Sylvain. Es fehlte uns an nichts, die Komunikation hat wunder bar geklappt. Es gab sogar Tipps für besondere Veranstaltungen vom Vermieter. Die Minigolfanlage nebenan war auch ein Hit für unsere Kinder. Wir würden auf jedenfall noch mal hinfahren.

De très bonnes vacances
Propriétaire très souriant, accueillant, agréable et arrangeant. Maison au calme dans un écrin de verdure avec les chèvres, les poules et les canards juste derrière la clôture. SPA super. Beaucoup de visites et belles balades à proximité. Je recommande vivement.

A wonderful stay
My friend and I were scouting the area for her future home and stayed here as a base. We wanted a place to cook and relax after the potentially long days of house-hunting and this was perfect. Sylvain was great - very responsive when we needed anything. We visited in January and the house was plenty warm with the wood stove and electric heaters (radiators). The goats and fowl in the adjoining gardens were delightful, giving the property a bit more character. Also, a few walks are possible straight out the front door, which we took advantage of. I imagine the property would be even more delightful when the days turn warmer and one could sit outside for lunch and / or the evening apéritifs. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place where you can cook / eat at home and don't need to be in the village.

Alles war perfekt
Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr geräumig. Großer Garten vorne und hinten. Schöner Pool und toller Jacuzzi! Sylvain hat alles unauffällig für uns gepflegt und den Pool immer wieder gesäubert. Das Haus hat alle unsere Erwartungen erfüllt und sogar übertroffen! Wir haben durchaus Erfahrungen mit Ferienhäusern und wissen, was alles stören kann - hier haben wir keine Probleme gefunden! Eine Küche, in der man wirklich kochen kann und eine Dusche in der man bequem duschen kann (auch wenn jemand das Waschbecken parallel benutzt!). Alles wunderschön und sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auf dem Nachbargrundstück sehr entspannte Ziegen, Gänse, Hühner und wohl demnächst auch eine kleine Kuh. Granville hat uns gut gefallen und die vielen tollen Strände vermissen wir schon jetzt! Mont-Saint-Michel sehr gut erreichbar. Die Minigolfanlage von Sylvain ist genauso top gepflegt wie das Haus und zu Fuß in 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir kommen wieder!

La campagne à 5 minutes de la ville.
Gîte bien situé pour…….tout. Nature, animaux, calme, et ville accueillante et vivante à 5 minutes. Un SPA pour se détendre le soir en admirant le coucher du jour. Une maison où les énergies circulent car bien conçue et facile à vivre . On ne se prend pas la tête…on se la libère. On reviendra.

Sehr netter Gastgeber!
Vom Willkommen heißen bis zum Abschied war Sylvain ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber. Seine Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet, da fehlte es an nichts. Nicht nur das Haus mit seinem Mobiliar, auch der große Garten lädt zu einem schönen, entspannten Urlaub ein. Neben an betreibt Sylvain auch eine Mini-Golf-Anlage. Wir haben solch schöne Anlage noch nicht gesehen. Auf jeden Fall ein Muss dort eine Runde zu spielen.

Très bon séjour avec nos enfants
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec nos deux enfants en bas âge (3ans et 1an). Ils étaient ravis et nous également. Tout est pensé pour que les enfants s’épanouissent en toute sécurité (jeux, livres, balançoire, piscine, chèvres...). La maison est très bien équipée et est située à quinze minutes de lieux superbes à visiter.

Prettig en comfortabel vakantiehuis
Nette, comfortabele, rustig gelegen woning op enkele kilometers van het strand met een zeer goed uitgeruste keuken ( ik heb zefs een weegschaal gevonden). Ook genoten van het bubbelbad in de tuin. De tuin, die rondom het huis ligt, heeft de hele dag zon. De tuin is niet 100% dicht als je honden hebt die graag zelf op wandel gaan. Om te wandelen met de honden kan je vlakbij een weggetje tussen de velden in en zo helemaal rond. Minpunt vond ik het internet wat een te zwakke bandbreedte had.

Un havre de paix avec un accueil très chaleureux !
Nous avons passé un séjour dans un cadre magnifique ! La maison est très belle, très propre et très bien équipée! Le calme environnant, la vue, l’air frais, ...que demander de plus! En plus, la maison est très bien située pour visiter le coin. Malgré le confinement et la limite des 10 km, nous avons pu profiter de promenades en bord de mer ainsi qu’en plein nature. Merci Sylvain pour votre accueil, votre disponibilité et votre gentillesse. Un petit coucou aux chèvres, leurs bébés ainsi qu’aux poules qu’on a eu plaisir à avoir comme voisins ! 😊 Nous recommandons cette location et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Superbe maison super coin super hôte
Très belle maison au calme, très bien entretenue avec toutes les commodités. Nos 2 enfants 7 et 10 ans se sont régalés avec le jardin, le jacuzzi et les voisines ( chèvres et poules), et avec les jeux de société, les livres! Parfait pour rayonner dans cette très belle région: mont Saint Michel, Granville, le bout du monde, la cabane vauban, la vallée de Lude.... toutes les plages. Bref nous recommandons vivement. :-)

Prachtig huis, rustig gelegen en toch dichtbij de kust
Schitterende woning, ruim opgezet, schoon, met een zee aan ruimte eromheen. Ontzettend veel privacy, rust, maar toch ben je in no-time aan de kust, in Granville, en in andere leuke omliggende Franse plaatsjes. Sylvain is een top gastheer, staat klaar als er een probleempje is, en lost het op! Dank! Wij hebben genoten van de tuin en het verwarmde zwembad, de zon scheen volop tijdens ons verblijf. Geitjes, kippen en schapen in de achtertuin, heel gezellig! Top huis voor een vakantie samen, maar zeker ook voor een gezin met kids. Aanrader!

Helemaal goed!
Zeer aangenaam verblijf! Bed is aan de kleine kant,maar dat ligt aan mijn lengte. Netjes, schoon en alles aanwezig. Gewoon zoals je wil dat het moet zijn!
