"This was one of the best experience that we have had so far in France. The Chateau is amazing, the family who owns the Chateau are wonderful and the location can't be better. We loved our stay at Chateau D'esparron."

Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes
5/5 Excellent
"Our check in was delayed by an hour and a half due to the room not being ready. We were called to come back when it was ready, when we were walked to our room there was still a cleaner inside, so they gave us a voucher for a complimentary drink which was nice. Other than the late checkin this hotel was beautiful, and very friendly staff. "

"This is a great old hotel that has been nicely remodeled. We had a balcony room, and it was wonderful to be able to sit on the (small) balcony and look over the gardens across the street and the bay. Very helpful staff. The only problem we encountered during our stay in April was that the room was too warm, and the air conditioning was not on. We spoke with two other guests who had the same problem, and the staff said that the AC would not be turned on until May. I suppose that is eco-friendly, but it is not very guest-friendly. We solved the problem by leaving the door to the balcony ajar, so it was not big problem, but our neighbors did the same and were kept awake by street noise. Otherwise, we were extremely pleased with the hotel, which is located right next to the Old Town and just a block from the Promenade des Anglais. Highly recommended."
