Great hotelPosted Aug 24, 2015
We were only in town for one night, but with 2 kids and a 9 hour drive it was nice having the Riverwalk right on the back side of the hotel. It was a nice opportunity to spread our legs. The beds were amazing as well. I stay here when ever I come to town. The only downside for us, was the lack of parking but we lived.

Close to wedding venuePosted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Cons: Starbucks staff was terribly rude.
Location: Love that it was close to the River Walk and I-25.
Called ahead to check in early for a five o'clock wedding...20 miles south of Pueblo, was advised no earlier than 3. However when checking out the next day at noon, three parties were checking in - at 12...double standards? My most disappointing event was a very loud banging of pipes from a neighboring room at 6 a.m. Being the designated driver and arriving back at 1 a.m. this was completely unacceptable as I couldn't go back to sleep. As we left there was a room we passed by that wreaked of marijuana!

Rampant criminal activityPosted Aug 10, 2015
Blocked at entrance briefly so a couple could peer into our van. The woman covertly attempted to follow me to our room. When confronted solicited for sex. Two Bikers hanging out in front of hotel for a few hours offered to sell me some pot. The walk to riverfront that evening confronted twice by panhandlers, had to walk past group of loud, cursing intoxicated teenagers along river. Pueblo seems to be immersed in drug/ social problem.

Thank you for your time in posting comments about your stay with us, and we're sorry to hear that you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. While our hotel is located downtown near the Riverwalk, this City Center area is going through a revitalization and is actually quite safe. We hope to see you again soon should your travels bring you back to Pueblo.

Ridiculous parking!Posted Aug 7, 2015
The first night the parking wasn't a issue because any issues were expected due to concert across street which was fine... But Saturday we had to park on their other parking lot across street which is very dark and scary. I WONT DO THAT AGAIN!! I was up till 3:00 am on drenlin rush from parking my car!!!

Great location - poor servicePosted Aug 6, 2015
Cons: Do your best not to spoil Marriott brand image.
Location: River walk and park five minutes walk across Convention Center parking lot. Several nice restaurants on river walk. Boat rides.
Reasonable stay for one night. I booked two rooms for a large family and requested connecting rooms on the booking form. Called them again the day before to double check. Request noted and ignored. Check in guy was surly. Parking was very limited, pool is small, everything about this hotel is mall. Noisy happy-hour happening in the bar at 5 pm, bar is right in the lobby. Was told breakfast between 6 and 10 AM, come morning, no breakfast - he meant that the bar was open for bagels and croissants - surcharge $5 to $20 per person and had already paid $350 for two rooms. Hit the road early. Otherwise great location near river walk and right off I-25. Try Springhill across the road. Large parking lot

parking is not good. i was nervous having to park across the street at night to be able to park, since the lot is way to small for all the guest to park.

Center of art and culturePosted Jul 22, 2015
Great hotel in art and culture center of town. Spent 4 nights there. Last morning woken by fire alarm at 6:30 a.m. We all evacuated but then returned to shower and leave for trip out. Didn't find out if there was an actual fire or not but we were done with our stay and it got us up and out on time.
