Cons: rooms and cleanliness of in-room Jacuzzi and pool
perfect place for couples to relax. staff will go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. we have strict food restrictions and they were extremely gracious in accommodating our food constraints and served us delicious gourmet food.

Completely spoiled

Pros: everyone is kind and is very appreciative. Dalia reminded us about dinner reservations which we would have forgotten every night.
Cons: nothing
Location: The marina is mere minutes away so after a long day of snorkeling and hiking, it was less than five minutes to the hotel room.
Everything from the staff to the food was fabulous! Room service was so great, I've never had better. The excursions we booked thru the hotel were perfect. My sister and I stayed and we are so happy that I am going back with my husband in a few months. Dalia, the concierge was the best.

AMAZING adults-only, all-inclusive resort!

I wish we could have stayed for two weeks! We did not want to leave. The reviews and the pictures really do not do this majestic place justice. This was our first visit to Casa Velas, but will most certainly not be our last. We selected this adults-only, all-inclusive resort for our much-needed and deserved vacation due to the abundance of amazing reviews. I agree with several of the other reviews, that Casa Velas really should be the #1 rated resort in Puerto Vallarta. I can't even think of one way or area in which they could possibly be better; literally every SINGLE request, need, and desire was fulfilled promptly and with a smile.
We HIGHLY recommend this resort for couples of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking an adults-only experience and who want to be pampered and treated like absolute royalty. A truly unforgettable experience.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: The food was delicious and the servings were plenty big, we never went back to the room hungry. Only wish there were more Mexican food choices.
Location: Beach club, golf course, all the normal tourist outings.
Friendliest staff of any place we have ever stayed. Beautiful grounds with plants and animals wandering around. My wife loved the peacocks they have wandering around and the turtles in the island by the front door. We didn't leave the resort much but you f you are wanting to the drivers are always ready and willing take you to the beach club or get you a cab if you want to go into town. The golf course looks very nice unfortunately I didn't get to golf this trip. My wife ended up getting an ear infection towards the end of the trip, luckily the staff was very helpful with this too. They had medicine and ear drops delivered to our room and even brought here fresh pineapple juice when she didn't show up at the pool.

2-days at the Casa Velas

Pros: it was wonderful.
Cons: larger selection of food. normal food select a little less gourmet.
Location: we never stayed in this area. it was very upscale and safe. we will return often.
We loved the property and the staff. Enjoyed the golf with the golf manager. However after two days we checked out of the property and moved into the sister property Velas Vallarta. Reason the food was 5-star, however the food was so gourmet I found little to dine on. I needed a buffet with more common selections. The Velas Vallarta gave me the larger food selection and the opportunity to walk the seashore each more for my health. The manager at the Velas Vallarta was a study in "on-hands" management. he was always walking the property and inspecting the standards and the quality he demands of a 4 plus star resort.

Relaxing high standard hotel on a golf course

Cons: This was the 5th stay we had in this property, and on this occasion the room we got wasn't up to ten same standards as on previous occasions
The hotel is located on a golf course in a tranquil area between the airport and the beach. There is a beach club available for the hotel guests. Staff are surprisingly friendly and caring. Recommended.

Location: You can go to the malecon area to walk, but with everything the hotel offers it makes you want to stay and experience their award winning sevice.
Casa Velas completely knocked it out of the park!
At first all the reviews were almost too good to be true, but as soon as you walk in, you are walking into paradise. Their staff is completely dedicated to making sure your stay is a pleasant one IN ALL ASPECTS of the word.
Their Restaurant treated us to exquisite meals like NO OTHER in an all inclusive resort.
No beacfront? NO PROBLEM!
Their private beach club was their best feature with excellent drinks and service that I have never experienced anywhere else.
Emilio's restaurant treated us to an amazing culinary experience as well as beach side dining looking over the pacific sunset.
Even on Friday night Chef Yolanda treated us to a wonderful paella made in front of the guests.
I can write a whole book on my stay and their service!
