I cannot say enough good things about this resort! Food was to die for and I easily made reservations for all dinners beforehand and had no issues. Drinks were above average with lots of variety. Our room was amazing in tower 5 , very private, quiet and luxurious. The view was spectacular! But the best thing about our stay was the service. Every single person went out of their way to make us feel like we were special but our favorite person was Alejandro at the middle pool! He made us feel like we were VIP and went out of his way to pamper us. He is amazing! Other things we enjoyed were the yoga at terra luna, kayaking, and the ropes hike (no waterfall because it was dry season). Again food, drinks, service and beauty of this location were all 5 star. The only negatives I might have is there was no real nighttime entertainment so there was nothing to do in the evening and there is alot of walking to all the different areas and pools. I didnt mind at all and actually enjoyed it but I think for some others it could be limiting. There is a trolly that takes people around as well and it was quick and timely. Usually by the end of vacation,I am ready to go home, but at the garza blanca, I still wanted more time and cant wait to come back!

I have never been to an all inclusive resort that their main goal is to sell you a time share. They treat you like crap once you decline the time share meeting. Our needs were met, things were booked for us, etc but as soon as we declined- the lady helping us when we first got there ignored our calls. Not only do you need a reservation for dinner but the food was mediocre. Definitely not up to par with a 5 star resort. I suggest booking dining reservations weeks before arriving. We were told that we could make the reservations when we check in but when we did- the times were all taken and was stuck with later times that didn't work for us so we had to plan around their times (which made it harder accommodating to our baby's schedule). Service was not good if you didn't tip well. They truly remember who you are so if you didn't tip well, they wouldn't be as nice the days after. Definite language barrier. Haven't ever had that at other resorts. We were told certain times for dinner and when we got there, they had said it was booked for a different time. We called asking questions for certain things and got different answers every time we called.
