The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood on a hillside, with a gorgeous view of Puerto Vallarta bay. My room is large and gracious. Although there is not a restaurant in the hotel, there are eating options nearby. It's a very charming place and I would stay here again.

I don’t think I’ve ever loved a hotel so much. The location, the view, the comfortable view, the unique building, and most importantly, the staff: so friendly, they treated me like family. I can’t wait to go back here. Note: I checked “walkable” in the “What did you like?” category because I happen to like walking and climbing hills. The hill is what gives this place such a good view, but it is definitely a climb. :)

This boutique hotel is absolutely charming! It’s located in Gringo Gulch, one of the best neighborhoods in PV. Every room is different and lovely in its own way. Ask for a room facing the Bay if available (particularly Sol 1 and 3). Staff was wonderful. A special shout out to Araceli! She is the main contact and fabulous to work with. She will do everything in her power to make sure you are happy. A small breakfast (toast, plate of fruit, and eggs if you want them) from 8:00-10:00, is included in your room rate. Views from rooftop are amazing! Close to three 5-star restaurants within walking distance.

Luna Líquida is a beautiful, unique hotel. Our room, Estrella, was perfect with a balcony and view of the ocean. The location on a hill makes for amazing views. There is a steep climb with stairs for sidewalks but the location was perfect for us near lots of good food and the malecón.

We booked Luna Liquida on the strength of their reviews and weren't disappointed. It is up the hillside, so be warned that you have a steep walk home each night, but it was never an issue. When we first stepped in, we were initially not thrilled with our room and contacted Araceli, who moved us into another room that was absolutely lovely. So much more interesting and unique than staying in a bland resort, the views from the rooftop were absolutely breathtaking. A special hotel in a special city.

Gorgeous property! Rooms Sol 1, 2, and 3 are particularly lovely with views of the bay and small balconies. Breakfast is white toast, fruit plate, and coffee or tea. Rooftop pool area has amazing views!
