Awful experience, don’t bother.
Mediocre experience. Snobby hotel with a complicated menu. No room service, no food between meal hours. They tried to put me in a room with 2 single (tiny) beds for €250/night, I refused so they gave me a Queen over a next door building site that started at 7am. Ate out at the local bistro which was awesome; don’t bother with the hotel’s nonsense ‘Pigeon and Tripe’ fancy menu >€100 each. They would not accommodate my bicycle in my room. Breakfast was overpriced, so I walked instead to the bakery 2 blocks away for excellent croissant. Don’t stay here, go to Beaune instead. This is overpriced for faux-gastros who have more money than sense.

This is a fantastic hotel. We had the tasting menu which was fantastic and superb. Everything here is perfect.

If only we could have stayed longer
This was so lovely! We wish we would have stayed longer. Such a nice setting and so close to so many vineyards. Wine tasting across the street and a few restaurants steps from the hotel. So nice!

One night in Burgundy!
Such a lovely place. Only stayed one night as on route to the Alps. A fabulous dinning room/restaurant, dinner was very good and wine as expected was delicious. Very well located to explore the best wine region in the world!

A stoping point with great character
We usually call once a year en route home. Our experience this year was a warm welcome , comfortable , standard bedrooms ; superb dining room and good breakfast . Everything well organised and executed.

The location of the hotel was absolutely beautiful. Within a minute or two I was walking in the vineyards. The bar/ restaurant and outside seating was all very relaxing and tranquil. The bedroom was spacious and overlooked a small garden and fountain in the town. The bed was very comfortable but the room could be refreshed. However, I had a wonderfully quiet and restful nights sleep. The restaurant was very accommodating and,prepared a special dinner for my husband as he is a very finicky eater. We stayed one night and wished we could of stayed longer.

Lovely hotel in Puligny Montrachet, a change from the bustle of lovely Beaune. Our room was in a separate building which did not have a lift - which we would have appreciated. The staff are lovely. The restaurant is excellent, the best meal we had in France, not sure of its Michelin status but the evening before we dined at Loiseau in Beaune (1 Michelin etoile) and Le Montrachet was easily better - every course was delicious. The restaurant staff were friendly and knowledgable and the wine list is outstanding.

Beautifully kept in pretty montrachet , staff were polite extremely smartly turned out and eager to please. Food was beautiful and rooms were well appointed wouldn't hesitate to go back though need to be aware that is not a cheep stay we felt it was worth it

Impressive stopover in wine village
A very attractive hotel and restaurant with high standards. The meal was high quality but, in view of the level of cuisine we had experienced in the previous weeks, did seem overpriced for what it was. We always enjoy a one-night stopover here. The only negative feature was a very rude guest in the next room but this was both unknown to, and out of the hands of the hotel.

Right in the middle
Inn is right in the middle of Burgundy wine country. Staff was exceptional at inn and restaurant. Food was unbelievably good. Our room was very comfortable. Rates were more than reasonable for the high quality received. Highly recommended.

The hotel is exceptional but service in their restaurant (the only one in the village and priced like a Michelin 2-star) was inconsistent and uncoordinated. At these prices, one expects excellence all around.

An excellent place to stay and to dine
This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel, and it has once again been well worth the visit. The rooms are comfortable,and the dining room and other facilities are impressive - as is the cuisine.

Wonderful property in a lovely little town.
The room was fine although it needed a small fridge. There was a 'leaking plumbing' noise in the bathroom, so we had to keep the door shut. The restaurant was really beautiful, and the food was great.

Snooty Staff
We were a group of friends on a wine tasting trip. We found the staff to be more interested in themselves than the customers. They were rude and snooty on several occasions but we didn't let it spoil our stay. After having spent around €3000 in the restaurant and bar on our first evening we decided to give our custom on following evenings to other nearby restaurants and the bar in the square whose staff could not have been more friendly. The restaurant food was good but the service was not. We felt they did not deserve their Michelin star for that reason, on reflection.

Well located in wine country but needs sound proof
Attractive hotel in small village with character & good ambiance. Rooms were fine except walls & ceilings are not sound proof. Staff were OK. Overall reasonably good value for money. Restaurant was very good but expensive. Courtesy courses between courses are could be considered unnecessary and leave you somewhat overfull. Excellent location for exploring the region & also accessing Beaune.
