“Friendly staff very helpful! Loved the fire pit and the paddle boards ”

“We spent three nights at Rock haven and were very pleased with the property. sitting out on the porch with a view of the bay was very peaceful. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We were a little surprised to see no tv....but who needs it there. The area is convenient for Peggy's cove and the owners suggestion of the drive down old hwy 3 to Lunenburg was fantastic. My only complaint would be .... and I understand why... (the cottage is at the rear of the owners property at the bay,……

“Peaceful, quiet. I like how a guest service team member came to check in with me abiut a half hour after I git settled in, wanting to know if there was anything I needed. And they also built my fire for me in the fire pit, so I would have no trouble getting it going. It's those little niceties that make me feel very much at home. And allows me to truly relax. I love it there! ”

“This was an excellent place to stay to discover much of NS. Day trips are very doable to Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and, although a little further, wine country in Wolfville. Chester and Hubbards are a little closer and offer a number of excellent shops and restaurants. Returning to number 7 is like coming home to relaxing luxury with an outstanding view. “Good location liked the paddle boats! Bbq and outdoors nice! Fire pit was nice but didn’t get to use it due to restrictions! Swimming not the best as very rocky area! No AC so it is warm but we brought or own fans which helped some! Overall nice place and no issues! ”

“We booked a 4 night stay in this quaint cottage in Peggy's Cove.The booking and check-in process was smooth and communication with the host was excellent. The cottage is beautiful and located in the heart of the village of Peggy's Cove. The kitchen is well appointed and great for cooking any meal. Living room is comfortable and the cottage has a large dining area. The bedrooms are large enough to comfortably sleep 5 people in total. “We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. ”
