Our room was huge and was clean. Perfect for my kids to play hide and seek in the room! The hotel was packed the night we stayed with a sports team which took away from our stay a bit, though this had nothing to do with the hotel itself. The location was great and convenient. We would stay again with hopes it will be less busy!

The set up of the bathrooms in the hotel is very nice. Almost all the amenities were functional and usable, except the outdoor fire pit, which I understand cannot be operated in rainy weather. Mattresses are super uncomfortable and caused my spouse and I great pain. We tried to use a gaming console for a streaming service and was having a very difficult time trying to adjust the volume of it no matter which remote was used to do so. Front desk seemed rather apathetic about our concerns. Then when we were sleeping at 8:45AM today, housekeeping tried to break down our door when we had the do not disturb sign hanging on the handle right outside it. Had it not been deadbolt locked, I’m sure they would’ve barged in on us while one of us sleeps completely naked! These are the only big issues we had throughout this trip. Word of advice: please do not send housekeeping to our door TWO TO THREE HOURS before checkout!

The property was convenient to shopping and dining. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were really nicely laid out and the a/c worked very well. Despite the property being surrounded by shopping it was very quiet! I would stay at a Marriott property again!

Me and my son stayed overnight to watch a UNC game. The staff was great! We had a slight issue with the bathroom door locking from the outside in and the front desk sent someone up quickly. Our room was clean. The hotel breakfast offers a good selection and the property was located close to quite a few restaurants and a Duck donuts. I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall my daughter and I enjoyed our stay, with these side notes! 1.The swimming pool temperature of the water was so cold that my 11 year old wouldn’t get into it. 2. The heat in our room 522 took hours to kick in(not until mid morning) The water pressure in the shower was so weak we could barely wash/rinse our hair! And there was basically no hot water! 3. Lastly. The breakfast was very disappointing! The powdered eggs were cold(tasted terrible) they only had one strength of coffee in 2 containers (Bold) neither I or my girlfriend drink it and it tasted horrible! With all of that being said I’m leaving the stay with mixed emotions! We were both definitely impressed with the facility but the amenities that came alone with the stay were very disappointing!

The hotel was nice! It wasn't as spacious as most of the other Springhill Suites that I have stayed at. The breakfast was pretty good. The area was nice and so much to do. The hot tub was fabulous, but the pool looked dirty. Overall, I had a great trip.

It’s a hotel of theives.
My roommates and I got a hotel room cause our power was out. We brought our devices and charged everything. I left early the next morning to catch a flight and wasn’t there to double check the room. My roommate left his stream deck by accident. I called the day after we checked out and they said they’d check and call me back, no one ever called. I called a few hours later I was told the same thing and they left me a message saying nothing was found. We have searched everything… the last time it was played was while we were there. A thing like that doesn’t just disappear. Horrible horrible reliability.

Holiday Stay in Durham
Came to visit our daughter at Christmas and had a very nice 3 night stay at the SpringHill Suites in Durham. From check-in to check-out everything was as we would expect it. All of our experiences with the staff were very positive. Room was large and comfortable. Plenty of light in the room which is sometimes an issue. Very clean and everything worked. Breakfast each morning was a very nice touch. Better than most breakfasts we've experienced over the years. Hotel was very convenient to food, shopping and the interstate. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful aside from the room itself. So many things were broken when I arrived. The iron did not work and the ironing board was broken. When I went to call the front desk, the phone didn't work either. The flush handle on the toilet fell off when I used it. And worst of all the sewage smell when you turn on the shower was overpowering. They switched me to another room where everything was fine except for the shower again. I was worried the *off* smell of the water would stick to me all day at work.
