We loved the location of this hotel. All of the historical landmarks are within walking distance . The hotel is amazing and interesting. Built in he 1400's as a home for a wealthy family. Huge beautiful Murano glass chandelier, frescoes, wood beamed ceilings, huge rooms and common areas, delicious breakfast included, a restaurant and bar.

What a beautiful room that is close to all the important sites. We enter the floor where our room is located and there is a huge common room, filled with books about Ravenna to enjoy. There is a very comfortable king size bed with nice pillows. A beautiful Murano glass chandelier, wood beam ceiling with frescos and the shower and toilet have their own room.

This property is beautiful. It's an old building but it's beautiful. It even has a fresco in one of the public rooms. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it had air conditioning. It does have an elevator but depending on where your room is you might have to go up/down a few steps. The staff helped with our bags and answered all our questions. Breakfast was really nice. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the old city. Ravenna is a beautiful old city full of gorgeous mosaics and good food. Enjoy

Wonderful hotel built in the 14oos. Beautiful frescos have been uncovered. The rooms are large with chandeliers and lots of sitting areas. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent, just a few steps from restaurants, shopping and historical sites. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Ravenna. Monica and her team treat you like family - the hotel is in an old Renaissance Palace with oak wooden ceilings and beautiful frescos - slightly let down by breakfast which could have more local produce - fresh yoghurt and juices , hams etc - restaurant in the evening cafe style on the street was great with local produce and amazing regional wines oodles of charm and original features.. overall we had a wonderful stay and we thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ravenna

Perfectly located near the heart of the city, everything is within walking distance. Clean room, lovely staff, great breakfast. We only had one night there before our cruise and it was a great place to stay. My only negative was the AC was not very cold at all.

The staff was wonderful! I have Parkinson’s disease and they bent over backwards to ensure i got to the room safely. and even carrier bags for me! i would definitely stay here again!!!!’

Excellent service upon arrival nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location the hotel was surrounded by everything you needed (except tourists). Eateries supermarket visitor sites all only short walks away. Breakfast was great. It’s a 15th century historic building. Our room had a 6m ceiling so full of ambiance but the AC struggled with the heat wave outside. Just a wonderful experience.

Very nice room in a historic building. The walls had remains of 15th Century frescos and 15’ ceilings. It was dated, but clean and quiet. The included breakfast was nice and cooked to order. The staff was very nice.

Ok this place was incredible! 14th century frescos, beautiful rooms, Venetian glass chandeliers… it was like going back in time yet with all the amenities like big gorgeous bathroom and AC which was needed. Our room was HUGE with a king bed and nice sitting area. The staff were all SO great, helpful and incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Very close to everything you want to see. Very very clean. I think they need to replace the bed pillows as they were flat and uncomfortable… but I didn’t ask for others and I am sure they would have accommodated me because they were so wonderful.
