“Landed here late at night after my previous reservation in nearby Hurly didn’t answer. The man at the front desk was wonderful and even gave me some spring water from by the lake for me and my dog. Turned a really bad night around after driving 40 miles in the snow from the original “hotel”. The pool area looks really fun, I would absolutely stay here again. ”

“It's a beautiful historic building on Lake Superior, but you wouldn't know the building is old by the updates in the room. Everything was clean, comfortable and in good condition. Baseboard heat eliminated the loud blowing noise from a wall-mount unit such as those in most hotels. Breakfast had great selection and overall quality, but should have been warmer.”
