We had an excellent stay at the Nugget Hotel in Sparks! The staff provided impeccable service, spacious and clean rooms, and fantastic amenities. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

Hot and cold faucets only ran hot water. Same for bathtub. Changed to a different room. Toilet tank ran continuously after first flush. Maintenance came quickly and repaired inner part of toilet tank. Rest of room was fine!

The sink and shower had scalding hot water out of the cold side. It took about 15 minutes running to get it cool. The toilet had scalding hot water too. Couldn't listen to Fox News someone locked the volume off on that channel only couldn't fix it. We used to stay here when we vacationed in Reno. I won't stay again unless they fix the Hotel. Someone ma get severely burnt by the water.

Security is no where to be found on the exterior. Had multiple persons loitering in parking lot and near entrance doors soliciting drugs. Building needs serious renovations. Do not recommend staying here with children.

I stay here often. Was disappointed when I tried to watch FOX news. It was the only channel on the television that had no audio. What kind of censorship is that?

I recently stayed at the Nugget. My check in process was fast and easy, staff was really nice and friendly. Room was clean. Stayed at the 24 floor view was awesome. I would go back any time!!

Expectations typically aren’t super high when staying at any casino hotel in Reno, however our room had the most terrible odor! There’s no fan for the bathroom and the windows have condensation each time you shower, so I’m assuming that’s what causes the terrible, moldy smell in the room. The shower took a LOOOOOOOONG time for the water to warm up and the toilet was temperamental. Overall, we only stayed there out of necessity for a sports tournament and would have not chosen to stay there otherwise.

Overall it’s a nice hotel, could use a couple more restaurants, lighting is in my opinion “to dark” to see around the casino floor, also didn’t realize I had to call house keeping to clean the room every….. but again over all we had a nice pleasant stay…. Our mistake was not signing up for the rewards program…..

Extremely poor customer service, Bad condition of the rooms/property! During checkout when my husband tried to ask the manager about the fees and raised concern about the issue in the rooms, the front desk manager ignored him and with an attitude just simply "said ok!", called another staff, kinda step back and started yelling at my husband and embarrassed him in front of other guests. As a former hotel employee and worked for customer service. I was trained to always treat guest/clients with gratitude and make sure to assists guest concerns, provide quality service and do extra mile if necessary in order for the guest/client to experience a satisfactory stay and come back. However with the conditions of the rooms mostly our bad experience with the front desk manager, we will definitely not coming back and advise our friends not to book with Nugget. This booking actually is just an extended stay from our previous 2 nights group booking with another 3rd party for a Big Event in Reno. Regarding the condition of the rooms. We have photos available for proof. -*toilet is disgusting, looks like it was never cleaned for a month and not flushing properly and cracked in the toilet seat *the bathroom floor is dirty, it was not even washed/mopped, some debris on the floor *shower is not draining properly *my next door friend said her bathroom toilet got overflowed too *no exhaust fan in the bathroom *no robes *bed is sagging and not leveled, pillows are worn
