This hotel is central to everything, restaurants, bus stops, and the harbor. All our excursions did a pick up at a bus stop that was close by. We could walk to everything. The hotel offered free lockers in which to leave our suitcases before our check in time. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was tea and coffee in the room, which was nice in the morning.

I loved that reception accommodated our request for an early check-in as we disembarked from a ship nearby. The room was comfortable and sparkling clean. The shower design is funky allowing water to splash everywhere with the moveable shower door and the water pressure was low on the 6th floor. The breakfast room flow was crowded, chaotic, and difficult. The food was excellent.

Good view on the harbor, very close to bus stop #5, nice bar on the 8th floor. Rooms are tiny, hair drier ancient and the tv hard to get to work. Service was good, we got to check in 3 hours early and the staff helped us with taxi and ice.

THE Location in Reykjavik!! Close to shopping, dining, the harbor, and all Reykjavik tourist attractions..Great buffet breakfast and relaxing Spa… Staff is great and parking was easy, some free, some day parking you do have to pay for but it’s right there.. We upgraded to Harbor View and if it’s available it’s worth it.. 5th-7th floors are best.. Enjoy!!

I had great time at Arnarhvoll hotel. The location is great, right next to Harpa/harbour. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My special thank you goes to a receptionist/front desk staff, a lady whose name I didn’t catch, unfortunately. The young lady with beautiful long hair who was so helpful to assist me with all my requests and all my questions. Thank you for being so kind and pleasant!

Arnarhvoll is a great choice for Reykjavik. Your day starts with a great breakfast and ends with a quiet room. In between they are walking distance to most Reykjavik sites and will get you a cab if you want to explore further.

The location is awesome, it is a couple blocks away from the main streets. The bad side is the hotel is located on a busy road where most of the buses stop and you can hear them during the night. The room is very small I had a double bed which was two full mattresses together. The beds are comfy and the room was always clean.
