We were offered “alternative accommodation,” but it did not have the same facilities or standard as what we had paid for. Given the circumstances and the time of night, we chose to make our own way home instead. This was our first time away since having our son, and the trip was completely ruined. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused any refund or compensation, despite the stay being cut short due to a serious safety issue entirely outside of our control. That response speaks volumes about how they treat their guests when something goes wrong. Safety concerns, a ruined stay, and zero accountability. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value basic duty of care and customer service."
