The lodge was very spacious, the rooms were clean, had everything you needed including a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. All you need for a home away from home. Next time we will probably bring our own food stay a little longer and have a good look around the area.

Very nice lodge, clean & comfortable.
Very nice lodge, clean & comfortable. Great location in lovely surroundings. Nice walk to the loch straight from the door. Nice hot shower . Comfortable bed . The only way it would improve is a better sofa & chairs which were not the best to lounge about in but it certainly wouldn't put me off booking ...

The food is great but very expensive, although Ballater is an expensive place to stay. Evening meal and bar lovely, breakfast amazing. Nice feel to the hotel, very traditional and cosy.
