Very quiet and peaceful. Room cleaned every day. Bed was noisy and renovations done to room you can tell was not done by a professional.

Staff was nice rooms were affordable, but smelled like smoke and had a leak dripping in the middle of the hallway all weekend long.

Rooms were clean and appeared newly painted. Our room was spacious. Location was convenient but not fancy. Price was good. However, they advertise as pet friendly and they are NOT! As of 1/2023 they are service animals only. They advertise on line as pet friendly, they have a pets welcome sign at the front door, but service animals only sign at front desk.

ours room the lights were all broken, toilet didn't work correct, the shower head and hand hold spray were falling off the shower wall The TV reception was bad .the breakfast was pathetic. I would never stay there again .

Only negative thing was the bed itself. It was definitely an old mattress and was worn down in some spots and hard and lumpy with springs digging into you but tolerable. Besides that the room was clean and neat.

Our stay was ok. Just needed a place to meet up with our son to give him his dogs back. It met our needs in that capacity. I was taken aback when they said they didn’t allow dogs but the website said they were pet friendly. They did allow us to keep the dogs there but won’t in the future. Rooms are ok, bed not all that comfortable but ok, bathroom was clean. Friendly people at the desk even though they didn’t want the dogs there, but did allow them.

Comfortable and clean
My husband and I drove up from Virginia Beach for a concert. The lobby of this hotel was beautiful! When we checked in it was quick and easy and the desk clerk was friendly! The room was very roomy with 2 queen beds. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were good quality, not the usual flat used hotel pillows! I was so happy with my experience that if I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here!

The room was super hot upon arrival. Front desk staff got the job done but didn’t seem to want to be there. Rain water was leaking through the window. There was no tv and the WiFi didn’t work.

We spent a few days here in Va, what I loved about the Motel was the entrance in the lobby’s decorative tile center flooring, the beautiful balcony going up towards the second floor, and even though the bathroom sink had a few cracks in it, and we had a problem with the toilet not flushing right the first day we got there the room, and bathroom were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the Motel was pretty quite during our stay, the front desk staff were very nice, and the cleaning staff helped with our little problem with the toilet, and after that nice dent it worked fine, and they were very nice during our stay there, the breakfast was ok, and we loved the area, we had all the restaurants, and shops so close to were we were staying, that’s what I liked the most during our stay, thank you Super 8, I would definitely stay here next time we visit Virginia👍
