Great Scenic Getaway
It was a very cozy stay right by the lake. Made us fall in love with the area of Minnesota, and can’t wait to return to the gorgeous scenery.

Pickerel Cabin
Great spot on the lake, close and level to the water. Nice older cabin. Big screened in porch is a good feature, but some screen needed repair. Bed was ok, not the most comfortable. Pickerel is a beautiful lake. Enjoyed our stay.

Good spot…
It’s a nice spot on the lake. The neighbors do not like that it is a rental. So don’t plan on having a party or a bunch of guests over.

Great place / great neighbors
Loved the stay. 4 guys on a fishing trip. Caught lots of fish on lake Pickerel and surrounding lakes. We enjoyed interacting and talking to the neighbors on both sides; they made us feel welcome.

Not clean for such a steep cleaning fee!
My fiancé and I stayed there and while we loved the lake and surrounding area, the carpet was heavily stained, the dishes had bugs in them or were not cleaned properly, bedding was very old and stained. The dock stairs were broken and the ladder at the end was heavily covered with spider webs. It was obvious that there was a lack f attention or care for the place. We also had people outside mowing outside on a day that was different than the day we were told. It was very awkward to have 4 men right up against the windows with loud mowers as we were trying to relax. When contacting management, again it become obvious there’s a lack of communication between the owner and the manager of the rental. I left feedback privately and management reached out once and I’ve called back numerous times and left messages, but it is clear they are not interested in rectifying this. We have paid less for better taken care of stays.

A great place to relax
We enjoyed our week! The cabin is cozy and well stocked. We loved the screened porch, especially on the windy days when outside wasn’t as pleasant. May not be great for active dogs but loved that we could have our dogs with us. All in all it was a great place to stay.
