Hi.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the chalet. If we had a gripe it was the disappointing efforts of the management company. Having stayed in many chalets and apartments in the Alps, and always having found a few supplies on arrival, either left by the previous occupant or placed by the managing team. This was not the case here, in fact it looked like the kitchen cupboards and bathrooms had been cleared not cleaned. Little things like less than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper being present. Not even a small bar of soap in either bathroom, or a small amount of washing up liquid or powder for the dishwasher. I have never experienced this before. Also the lack of effort outside. In the past always found paths cleared to the main door, especially if there are steps. This clearly was not the case, the clearing of snow was very minimal, which meant the steps down to the Chalet were a death trap; considering we were arriving after midnight and pitch dark. There had been no snow for at least 5 days prior to our arrival, so really no excuse for this lack of effort.
To confirm, the Chalet was lovely and the location absolutely perfect. It's just the little things that make a difference, especially when you are arriving very late. I am pretty sure that the management agent is taking a healthy commission for their services, i do not think they are providing value for money.
