Lovely hotel. Quiet at night. Beds very comfortable. Staff friendly. In a fabulous location just across road from the bus stop that goes from the airport. Had a lovely morning in the spa. Do not feel they should allow children to go into the spa people go to relax and there was a child being loud and jumping into the pool and we left as it was not relaxing. Other than that no complaints!!

This is one of the best Hotel in Riga. I find it hard to reject .it’s on another level.my only suggestion when it comes to bedroom duvet if it’s king size , couples should be given a king size duvet instead of two single duvet not comfortable, apart from That Bravo to stuff members and the management. I will recommend your Hotel to all my friends and Family.

Would not recommend but the area is great
Exceptionally thin walls that mean you can hear every footstep and conversation up and down the hall. The water pressure was also so bad it stopped completely mid shower. Excellent location and everyone we met was nice enough but upon mentioning the issues we faced the receptionist was just completely silent and said nothing.

Could have been a 5* but…
Pros: Great location from airport transport (22 bus), right on the edge of old town, great transport links to elsewhere. Modern, clean hotel, great views across the river and large spacious rooms which were well equipped (definitely opt for a river view room if staying here). Cons: Spa - not worth paying the extra or the extra on the room, whilst it looks great, the jacuzzi and general feeling was cold, so it was hard to relax. The steam/sauna room were okay and spacious though. Breakfast - Avoid, and again don’t bother paying for it here. The “hot food” was freezing cold at different times, choices were limited, and on our second time eating we identified mould on one of the cakes. After pointing this out to a staff member, it was quickly removed, however for a hotel of this calibre it’s not acceptable and made us question the quality of the other food and how long it had been sitting there. This was disappointing as we were expecting hot, fresh food after looking at the photos but this didn’t deliver. We didn’t eat there on the last day.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Bus and tram stop just across the street. Walking distance to the old town. Very nice facilities however pool access is on extra charge which it was not mentioned during the booking process eventhough pool is mentioned on the amenities list

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is very well located and the room was comfortable. It was unclear at the point of booking that you had to book a specific package for daily spa access, but I guess this was my fault as I didn’t scroll down all of the available room options. Even so, 1.5 hour slots had to be booked in advance, at an additional cost of €20pp per session. The facilities at the spa were good, but the jacuzzi wasn’t that hot, which was a shame.

Very clean and fresh looking hotel that is walkable to the city centre. I chose it for it's breakfast and it didn't disappoint, amazing! I thought the cost of the swimming pool and sauna area was quite expensive at 20 euro each however for 1.5 hours.

Checking in and the people behind the counter were just not paying attention. Really not a nice experience, they need to go back to school. Asked where the car park was and directed round the corner. Got there and was asked for €40 for the night, I was told at the hotel it was €15. The car park attendant was VERY aggressive even as we got into the car park, then even more when I said we were at the hotel. If you ever stay here and have a car beware, he was not nice on many levels. My 3 passengers in the car with me were quite frightened, I just thought he was a complete D**K. Any way we walk back to the hotel and make our way up to the room, no such room. Numbers were all over the place, in the end we went back down to reception to find our fellow travellers there as well as they could not find their room either. we were eventually told we were in a different building. So we went outside to a different building and found the room, looking out the window to a brick wall. Bar staff were OK, my fellow travellers went to the spa and were charged an extra €20 each which they said was not worth it at all. I have stayed in all the other Welton hotels in Riga, this one has to be the worst. I travel to Riga regular and stay in a lot of hotels but will be giving this one a miss in future.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff was very friendly and helpful on check in. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the drainage in the shower didn't work and the water didn't drain away. After only a minute or 2 the water flooded onto the bathroom floor and onto the bedroom carpet. I reported this to reception and they said a technician would come round to resolve the issue. That evening having a shower the same problem persisted. I had a very quick rinse to prevent the floors folding again The carpet in the room was still wet. All they did was to open a window. I reported it again but nothing was done. I couldn't shower and had to stay in a room with a wet carpet for 3 days. Not great!!

The staff couldn't do enough to help you. We only had breakfast in the hotel, which was a hot and cold buffet, and never had so much choice. The Spar was amazing, and the treatments were very reasonably priced. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of the central markets snd the old town. Would definitely recommend and stsy again

Lovely place, don’t like the very narrow bedding x2, I know the concept but they are not wide enough for a good nights sleep. Late night snacks need expanding, draft on tap only have two. Breakfast is amazing

Website said it was an 8 minute walk from the bus station. It was not. It took us more than 30 minutes because of construction and we had heavy luggage. Even if there had been no construction there was no way to make the walk in 8 minutes.

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. Room was very clean. Room located in the inner building and was very quiet surroundings. Location is placed at the edge of the old town, which has 2 huge advantages- the car can drop you off at the door of the hotel and it is a short walking distance to many points of interest of the Old town and many places you can dine or shop. I didn't use the breakfast or spa facilities. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Easy check in experience, allowed to check in prior to official time to drop bags. Observation deck is nice when not being used for private events. Old town is a 5 minute walk. Rooms are well appointed but fairly standard. Hotel is well decorated and we are at the restaurant twice - menu is limited but good quality. Well situated next to the central station. Only downside is the ongoing roadworks which slightly spoil the outside environment but no noise heard from the hotel. Breakfast is expensive versus eating out but good choice and plenty of seating.
