"We have stayed before at this unique Hampton Inn, built around an historic mansion. We had a king bed room in the modern wing, larger than most Hamptons. Easy access from I-82 and close to the historic center. We make annual trips along this route and recommend the hotel. Lexington is worth a visit. Walkable and interesting historic center. Many educational plaques set into sidewalks. Loved the sign near Stonewall Jackson’s house describing him as “teacher and gardener” during his time as instructor at VMI."
