“Our stay at Danny’s rental was excellent. He provided wonderful communication, was attentive and quick to respond when needed, and the check-in process was a breeze. The apartment was clean, modern, and the arcade and board games were a hit with my nephews! There were some necessities provided, like a keurig and some coffee K-cups, plenty of plates/cups/utensils, a hair dryer, soap and travel shampoo/conditioner, and it’s helpful there is a washer and dryer with detergent provided if needed. “This place is incredible and we were so lucky to have found it! Very comfy and very well stocked. My friends and I were in town visiting the Jefferson pools and were so happy to land here. Amazing hot tub, beautiful stars and a really lovely place to stay. There weren’t any reviews on Vrbo yet when I booked and I’m happy to spread the word and suggest this stay to anyone. “We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going……

“This was not at all like pictured. It was directely above a bar that was so loud until 1:00AM. we did not even stay here. we drove 1 1/2 hours away to stay in a hotel to actually sleep. i want my money back please. if anyone knew what this was they would not stay here”

“Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us!”

“Above garage apartment works good for two on Jackson river. River bank is a bit steep at waters edge at property. Easy ride to bike path. Property is shared with other guests who stay in main house and share the driveway and parking area.”
