This place was in a great location. Our room was old but it has new owners and they are going to do them up. The owner of this property went over and above to help us get to the airport in time for our plane no taxis or Uber, thank you so much.

Nothing like the picture on the site,Tiny room,dirty sheets,popcorn ceiling,popcorn walls,worst motel I have ever seen,left and went to another place,didn’t get any money back.

Comfortable and convenient
I always stay at the Metro in Rocky when I am on a walk trip. Beds are comfortable and you have every food options available to you with a 2 minute walk. The Brunswick hotel just down the road have great steaks. When your tired from working all day or traveling all day it's such a convenient place to stay.

Comfy value for money
Great location for food and only a k walk to river front. 20 minute walk to hospital (we were visiting someone) or 4min drive. On a main road so noisy as you'd expect but I slept well. Facility is dated but clean. Pool is well maintained and cleaned regularly. Shower was great. Friendly and helpful staff and owners

Very easy to get back onto the A1 if continuing on it. Neat little bathroom, comfy bed, good TV.. Great choices for a feed right next door. Very pleasant staff, dealt with two small issues (partly my fault) efficiently and with good humour. I was completely satisfied.

Shower screen not working properly. Air conditioning kept turning itself off. Step down to bathroom hazardous (I have bruised and broken skin on arm) smallest room ever encountered, not a pleasant experience. Manager was very pleasant

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating day manager. Very convenient, central location - Foodworks supermarket next door, 24 hr servo / convenience store directly across the road, KFC, McDonalds, pizza, Thai restaurant all within a 5 minute walk. Very clean and well-maintained room that has all features and facilities any traveller could want - soap, shampoo, hairdryer, kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, coffee, tea, & milk, WiFi big TV.

The photos on line make it look better than what it is, it’s an old motel clean but dated. The road noise wasn’t as bad as we thought but didn’t get a good nights rest. Nice staff

Great location to eateries and the city. Unfortunately this property did not meet the expectations I had from reviews. The road noise was extremely loud, shower screen really hard to close and the bed was really hard and uncomfortable. I don't usually leave such a review but this was our genuine experience.

Staff welcoming and helpful the room was a room to sleep in, felt safe and comfortable. Fresh towels and linen and beds comfy enough. The building and amenities unfortunately showing their age but who these day can afford to upgrade. Would stay again if needed.

Staff were nice enough and accommodating for general requests. Stayed in what was advertised as a 2 bedroom unit, however it was only 1 bedroom with the other beds in the main living area like a studio. Mould in the shower. Room meant for up to 5 people, however there were only 2 towel racks. Had to hang towels in the wardrobe on hangers to try to air them. No face washers in the bathroom. Had to ask for them. Broken reading lights over the beds.
