The hotel is very beautiful from the moment you walk in. The greetings were great, they spoke great English and you see interior decor that screams Rome. There is an old style elevator which I thought was cool. I booked a room with a jetted bath tub hoping to get one of the really nice ones shown in the photos. Me and my husband were one of the only people staying there because we went during the COVID 19 situation where they just opened up travel in Italy to other Italian residents so we knew it wouldn’t be busy. Sadly, they gave us the worse jetted bathtub room available. The AC didn’t work, the walls were scratched up and it felt very small and cramped. The toilet always sounded like it was running water after the first time we used it, and I couldn’t help but to think they just threw us into their worse room possible even though no one else was staying there and we payed lots of money for a very nice room. After complaining about the AC, we were given the option to move rooms (we happily accepted). I felt like they should have put us in this second room from the beginning! This room was so beautiful with the bed facing a mounted tv that was hanging up on glass and behind the glass was the jetted bathtub. The bathroom felt clean along with the room that didn’t have any imperfections that I could spot. The breakfast in the morning was prepared by a nice lady that didn’t speak English but was very fast with the food and we could tell was very kind and passionate.
