“Greatly enjoyed our stay here for a week in February. The house was home base for us as we visited the three nearby National Wildlife Refuges. House was very clean and stocked with all essentials. Clear communications with the host added to the positive experience. Was third winter we have visited Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula to view wildlife. When we return, we will definitely try and book this lodging again.”

“I was cautious like most other people said but the reviews were good and I'm not particularly squeamish about hotels. I look for no bugs and no stains on the bed. I got that. Also, the room had a comfortable bed, decent shower and sink with toiletries, and more importantly, a microwave and fridge that allowed me not to have to eat fast food every night. The TV even had a host of good programing. I have no complaints! As others have mentioned in some reviews, this is the country! a couple dollar……

“This place was amazing! My daughter really loved it and did a whole MTV cribs video she was so excited which I wish I could post here The check in was smooth and easy. We arrived late and it was a got day and drive and when we got in the AC was going and everything was ready for us to immediately relax. Very peaceful out there and a great little community to go explore! The hosts were in constant contact and made everything super simple! The bed was extra cozy and one of the hottest showers……
