At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. The MAIN Cabin is 4 1/2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 15. Included you will find full beds, queen beds couches, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, tv/dvds, glassware, silverware, pots and pans linens, towels and everything else you will need for your fun filled summer vacation, along with a fire pit, BBQ grill, and horse shoes. A nice shallow small sandy beach and Public dock just steps from the cabin(unfortunately no overnight mooring). The Silver Dollar Bar just one block up the street, and Party Store less than a mile away. Cabin is located at 2308 Treasure Blvd. Higgins Lake MI. Pontoons, Fishing & Ski Boats, Jet Skis, Paddleboards, Kayaks, ATVs, Scooters, and UTVs available for rent at a discounted price for all renters through GO FAST Rentals that are also one block away.
PETS OK! ($45 per pet) Campfire wood available on property for purchase.

We used 5 of Jeremey’s Higgins Lake cabins and they exceeded our expectations! They are all clean, updated and had everything we needed for our family weekend stay. The short stroll to the lake was such a bonus. We watched a gorgeous sunrise. All together the communication with him was prompt and he was happy to answer any & all questions through the process. We had a great time! House is very roomy and well kept. We also rented a pontoon from the home owners company (go fast rentals). Kids loved it. This was our second year. We already booked for next year! Can’t wait!!

Family Cottage week
Everything was as shown in pictures. We had8 adults and 3 children and still had beds we didn’t use so plenty of room. Kitchen was large and enjoyed the large counter space as well as counter stools and large table with adequate chairs. Outside was great, large deck( needs some repairs) fire pit and plenty of room for kids. There was a fowl smell sometimes probably from septic field but didn’t stop us from outdoor activities. . Short walk down street to small beach with dock and lake access. Higgins lake is Sandy and shallow for long way. Hosts Jeremy and his mom were very responsive and helpful. Already booked our trip next summer. We also had small cottage next door for another family in our group which was a bonus to be close.

House was very spacious. We had 11 people and plenty of room. Allowing pets was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again. We had a vehicle that wouldn't start when we were ready to leave and owners were great, letting us use the house until the wrecker got there.

We had a fabulous time during our pre and post Wedding stay at the house and cabins. It was amazing to have all family around us. I would highly recommend this property for large groups. The property is just amazing and all the different unique features of the cabins and Main house. Great Christmas get away!
The house was great, a lot bigger than it looks. I love the floor plan of this house; makes it super convenient for multiple families staying there together. The only downfall of this property is that the tub pictured does NOT work. The jets won’t turn on, the drain doesn’t hold the water, and there isn’t enough hot water to fill the tub. We chose this property specifically because it had the tub, so it was really disappointing. Property owner was great with communication and accommodating. Overall, we had a great Christmas with our family, just wish the listing would have been accurate.

True North Main Cabin for the Win!
We loved our vacation at The Main Cabin on Higgins Lake. It accommodated our group of 9 beautifully along with 3 dogs! Renting a pontoon from Go Rental completes the experience! The cabin is clean and well-stocked. We'll be back!

Fun Weekend Getaway!
We had a great time staying at this property. We had a group of 11 that comfortably accommodated all of us. This property was the cleanest and most spacious rental that we have stayed at. The check-in process was easy. We took walks to the lake right down the road. The first night, we went to the Silver Dollar bar that is within walking distance and has good food. We enjoyed a day at the beach at North Higgins Lake State Park and also rented a pontoon from Go Fast Rentals on one of the days. It was nice and convenient to have access to firewood on the property for purchase. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this property for large groups.

Wonderful Rental a Short Walk to Lake
We highly recommend this property for your vacation! It was the perfect place for our families to spend quality time. The house is large offering space to eat, play and be together. We enjoyed the fire pit and time outside with the kids using the available bikes. We took quick walks to the lake as well as spent time at both North and South Higgins State Parks. Jeremy provided great communication at every step of the process.

A wonderful stay
From the start to finish, we enjoyed every bit of this home. It was spacious for my family and I, parents and children included. It was clean and more importantly it was so close to the lake with the public access dock that if we didn't want to go to the state parks, we didn't even have to which is a blessing with small children. The amenities were great and we appreciated the grill every night. The host's mother was very sweet and allowed my niece and daughter to use the pool noodles on the property for the beach and we did rent a pontoon boat from Go Fast for a day that was super fun and easy to rent. There were just a few things to mention; I wish checkout was just an hour later. 10am is very quick with little ones and with the check-in time being late at 4:30 pm, I feel like that could be adjusted just a bit. Also, while sweeping the entire house clean is not hard, it is a laborious task that you absolutely cannot do until right before you leave as it would be for naught beforehand with sand everywhere and there is a cleaning included in the rental that should encompass that as well. There needs to be trash bags available to change trash out as we leave and lastly, extra toilet paper than what's initially there. With a family you go through it quickly and we had to go buy some as we were told that more is not stocked after you run out. These are minor "2 cents" issues as everything was really wonderful and we do hope to rent this house again in the future. Thank you for letting us enjoy your property.
