“This is a beautiful country place. It has a lovely atmosphere and character. The outdoor bath is a great way to relax and enjoy the bird life or the stars if you are so inclined. There was lots of firewood and kindling for the wood burner. There were electric blankets on the bed which was great because we stayed in winter during a cold snap and a severe frost. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with an excellent gas hob. The carpeted floor and fluffy floor rugs helped with warmth and comfort.”

“Despite the weather it was wonderful. Would recommend however , perhaps a sliding door to enclose the kitchen and dining area, especially during the winter time, as it was quite exposed to the elements when the wind blew and not comfortable to sit and eat a meal at the table. Everything else was fine, and the outdoor shower was wonderful .”

“I spent 11 nights here working as a digital nomad. The place was clean and looked great. The house is on a major road in Hamilton, but the traffic and noise was hardly noticeable give the distance away from the city center.Wi-FI was fast and stable. Kitchen had all the kitchenware and utensils I needed to cook and eat by myself. The washing machine was pretty small but it beat having to find a laundromat. There was a private area in front of the house that included a rack I could hang my...

“Beware, water pressure was very poor and temperature was lukewarm. It made a difference for 3 adults trying to shower at 5.30am. There is no insulation and the railway is nearby. It felt like we were sleeping in a tent next to the train tracks, so not good for light sleepers. Comi g fro. Someone who lives next to an airport. Location was great if you're attending events at Turangawaewae marae or Hopuhopu but it's not worth 310 a night that I paid. Won't be doing that again, particularly with the...
