Old but cute.
Close to the airport but far from anything else. The hotel is very old but clean and the staff is nice. If you are not looking for anything fancy and don't care about distances other than the airport, this is a nice choice

Welcome to 1980
The good part: Lovely staff, quiet location and good value for money. The bad part: Rooms are very old fashioned, like going back in time. Not very clean either. Lots of cobwebs under the bed side cabinets. I reached under to plug my iPad into the mains and got a handful of cobwebs. Generally dated and dusty rooms, dead insects etc, but for the price, I couldn’t have got better anywhere else. One tip, there are NO shops anywhere around. Bring snacks and water etc with you. Or you’ll have to buy everything you need from the hotel restaurant. And the restaurant menu is 40% asparagus dishes, 40% schnitzel dishes, plus one or two soup and salad dishes. If you want variety, go to the nearby town of ladbergen. €15 in a taxi.

Misunderstanding with out of hours procedure we turned up spoke throgh the intercom on door cant understand german thought hotel was closed so drove away hope to get dispute sorted as we had reserved with credit card through online booking system

Clean and comfortable hotel in quiet surrounding
This is a family-owned hotel in very close proximity to the airport "FMO" (Flughafen Münster/Osnabrück). Perfect for business trips or arriving/departing air travelers. The service is good and so is quality and price of the food they provide. The rooms are simple but sufficiently equipped (very comfortable bed, LCD TV, blow dryer, desk with chair, etc.) The only thing I missed was an in-room safe. The indoor and outdoor (large porch) serving areas are very comfortable and inviting for meals or just afternoon drinks in a country-style setting.

A Really Nice Hotel
Excellent hotel, nothing was to much trouble. The proprietor was a very nice person will definitely stay again. Lots of parking with room for 90 people.

Wir mussten eine günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit finden und wurden positiv wirklich sehr überrascht! Tolles Essensangebot, unglaublich netter Gastwirt und sehr saubere Räumlichkeiten. Der Wasserhahn im Bad hatte allerdings das wasser immer "raus gespuckt" und das wasser war eher kalkhaltig. Ansonsten wirklich empfehlenswert!

Aufgrund von Personalmangel hat manches etwas länger gedauert, wofür ich aber vollstes Verständis habe! Die Ausstattung war hervorragend! Alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Teilweise hatten die Zimmer keine moderne Ausstattung, sie war jedoch Top in Schuss und ohne Mängel. Der Wirt und die Mitarbeiterinnen waren super nett. Das Frühstück war ausgesprochen üppig und es wurde sehr auf Details geachtet! z.B. hatte ich am 1. Tag zusätzlich zum Kaffee noch Tee, dieser wurde mir am 2. Tag direkt mit angeboten. Ich kann den Gasthof guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen!

Hidden Gem! Nice, friendly, not to expensive
Great travel-lodge for travellers! Not luxury, but absolut OK and clean! You get what you need for a simple overnight stay! Not to expensive with a little restaurant (tasty food)! But you need a car! It is in the middle of nowhere!

Night before the morning flight
Perfect for an early-morning flight, just 5 minutes by car from the airport. Big free parking place. The pillow was too thin for me, it was the only less perfect thing.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, Betten waren sehr gut ,endlich mal ein Oberbett das seinen Namen auch verdient ! Es war schön warm.Sehr netter Gastwirt. Wir haben das Hotel als Übernachtung vor unserem Flug genutzt. Zimmer sehr sauber , Frühstück ausgesprochen gut. Sehr gutes Preis-leistungsverhältnis. Wenn wir wieder von Münster aus fliegen sollten ist dieses Hotel unsere erste Wahl. Herzlichen Dank an das Team vom Hotel Waldesruh

Ein echter und unerwarteter Geheimtipp
Wir sind sehr viel in Hotels in aller Welt unterwegs und alle sind irgendwie ähnlich. Wenn es noch sowas wie einen "Geheimtipp" gibt, dann hat der Gasthof Waldesruh sich diesen verdient. Die Inhaber sind sehr bodenständig, freundlich, gesellig und hilfsbereit. Auf Nachfrage haben wir ein vom Inhaber selbst gejagten Hirschrücken zum Abendessen bekommen. Dabei war die Küche und Qualität auf höchstem Niveau. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber, das WLAN ist schnell und man schläft sehr gut. Ich war wirklich sehr positiv überrascht, von diesem Gasthof und kann es mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Ensligt beläget Gasthof. Bra frukost, utan grönsaker dock, på tyskt vis. Rymligt rum. Parkering alldeles utanför dörren. Trevligt värdpar. Lyhört. Klockan 7.30 började hunden i ett närliggande rum att yla. Man vaknade i alla fall.

Ein schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Selbst mit großem Hund kein Problem. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Es hat uns an nichts gemangelt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen !!!!!!
