Our on site host, Anne, was so friendly and helpful too and prepared a lovely Savoyard dinner for us the last evening. "My daughter's wedding was at the nearby Chateau de Morganex. We rented Jacques home so our family could all be together in one place. It was fabulous! Jacques and his wife were so welcoming and friendly and the home was gorgeous. It was exactly what we were hoping for! The pool was lovely. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. Thank you Jacques for a lovely stay."

"During the heat of our 4 weeks in France, it was very pleasant to take a 8km twisting road into the cool uplands and enjoy the garden and surrounding farms of this house. Our group, fit walkers al over 70, did find it difficult to easily get into the back garden over the craggy steps without a railing. Since we had all all our meals there and spent so much time there, we often were concerned one of us would fall or break a leg.. this is a danger to anyone and should be corrected. Otherwise, both...

"Large property within a quiet Village next to the Lake. The layout is a bit unusual but there are lots of rooms out houses and space. The stairs are probably not ideal for families or elderly people. We found a few broken items which suggest that the up keep isn’t as good as you would expect, a few broken chairs, broken glass, and the Kettle didn’t work on arrival but it was replaced quickly once we notified the property manager. We don’t speak French and the property manager had limited English...

"This house is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the surrounding area. Although the village it is in is very quiet and has no restaurants there are amazing places to eat a short car journey away. The surrounding countryside is incredibly beautiful and the house has a pool with a breathtaking view. There is lots to do in the area and we did some great wine tasting. The hosts are very communicative and helpful with local recommendations."
