If you can't resist the charm of old houses, you'll feel right at home in this delightful vacation property in Normandy. The stone house has room for eight adults and two children, who can look forward to stone walls, wooden beams and pleasant and spacious rooms. You will stay here 12 km from Vire with its pleasant ambience and a very interesting museum about the very typical buckling landscape of the region. Active vacationers can play a round of golf 8 km away, or go sailing or fishing at Lac de la Dathée. The Saint-Sever forest invites you for walks against a rural backdrop, and 1.8 km away you can visit the Parc Musée du Granit at Saint-Michel-de-Montjoie. Take your kids to the Champrépus Zoo (29 km) or the amusement park in Saint-Martin-de-Landelles (32 km). Villedieu-les-Poêles is also worth a visit: the church of Notre-Dame, the Musée de la Poeslerie and the Maison de la Dentelle, and a little further away the monastery of Notre-Dame-de-Hambye and Mont St Michel (56km). A well équipped peaceful character property
We were very happy with all aspects of the property. There was everything there that you could need. The property is in a lovely peaceful setting and the house is full of character and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was rather pedestrian but I guess that’s common in the countryside. Ray and Sue were charming and helpful hosts. Thank you for the complimentary wine and eggs! A memorable stay.

Déçu à l’arrivée car l’ensemble des explications et prestations de la maison sont en anglais, pour des vacanciers qui ne parlent pas du tout l’anglais il est très compliqué de comprendre... de plus il nous a été demandé de payer un supplément pour le chauffage bois ... inadmissible !!! Rappelons que nous avons payé pour des prestations dont la TV qui était exclusivement en anglais... certes nous avions à disposition des DVD ... mais eux aussi en anglais. Si nous avions voulu nous rendre en Angleterre nous l’aurions fait !! Il est donc dommage d’être en France et de se voir imposer une langue étrangère !!!
