A typical French family hotel which looks as if it is ageing and is perhaps a little disappointing initially with parking opposite in a public square. However it was clean and the cuisine was extremely good. Breakfast was of a good standard and served on the opposite side of the road where the proprietors seem to have established a modern addition to the facilities.

Excellent food, nice quiet room but disappointed no aircon as it was extremely high temperatures outside, but even so the room was comfortable temperature for sleeping.

Comfortable and clean room for a family of 4 - staff was helpful in providing 2 mini portable a/c units for the night. Located in nice little village. Will go back in the future.

Great little hotel close to the city centre
Hotel is well placed, easy walk of the town centre. There is free parking opposite the Marie build in 1740. The staff were friendly. Whilst we did not eat at the restaurant the menu was good and represented fair value for money those eating when we collected our key were in good cheer.

Nicw staff and cute little town. Room was spacious and clean ut area is extremely noisy right by a very loud bar and a busy street. Room also got really warm so we had to leave the window open.

Warm welcome in the restaurant this family run traditional hotel with new rooms across the road from the restaurant. Excellent condition large room with good bathrooms. I didn't eat there at all. A little pricey but there's not much alternative nearby. The town and area don't seem to have much to offer

Cheval Rouge
We stayed here en route to Chanel Tunnel, it's very convenient for the A4 Autoroute. The Cheval Rouge is a simple hotel, we stayed in the annexe over the road which was great, simple but great.The restaurant and wine list are far better than you would expect in this level of hotel. The breakfast is limited but more than enough for a flying visit.They are also very welcoming to dogs!

Excellent hotel for the price!
This was an excellent hotel for the two of us and our 20-year-old son. We stayed here on the way to Frankfurt and really enjoyed the comfortable room. It looked newly renovated, was in perfect condition, and the price was very reasonable. We arrived on a Sunday evening and all stores were closed, so we went to the pizza place just down the street (the only place open) and had an excellent pizza with beer. I highly recommend this hotel!

What a great find!
On a road trip we found the Chevalier Rouge on the internet en route. The hotel is opposite the brasserie shown on Hotels.com and surpassed our expectations. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Excellent service from staff. We ate a The brasserie which was a really good meal - if a little pricey - it was well worth it.

Nice modern facilities, but close to noisy road
Very nice modern room and facilities. Unfortunately no aircon so had to leave window open and the room was next to a busy main road through town so that at around 5:30am we were woken by traffic noise. Great breakfast (not included)

Immaculate room but noisy
Our room in the new wing was ultra modern and immaculate, however the noise from big lorries going past, not to mention a 5am bin collection, was horrendous. The buildings on the narrow road amplify the noise to the extent I got virtually no sleep, which I badly needed after a 9 hour drive. That said, I couldn't fault the staff and the location was good. Try and get a room without main road frontage and you won't go wrong with this hotel.

Lovely place.
Lovely place to stay, we stayed in the annex across the road, not too hot even though there is no air conditioning, as noted in other reviews. It would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room but that's a minor detal......we would stay here again.

A Pleasant Surprise
The place was a nice surprise. The outside looks typical French slightly old building but the room was really well appointed. Looked like it had been fairly recently overhauled. The restaurant served large tasty portions of food and the staff were very good to us with only a small language barrier. Parking was right outside in the street but extra parking is just across the road in the town square. The local town was very nice even though it straddled a busy road which was easy to cross.

Very nice stay at a recently renovated, well equipped hotel. Breakfast was standard but very nice quality of ingredients and only €9 each. Free parking on the streets around.

Great Logis de France
Super Logis de France. Our room was in the old building so room was dated but clean and very comfortable. Restaurant was fantastic both food and service. The wine list was extensive, but the waiting staff are very knowledgeable. A great place to stay en route, or for a few days exploring.

We only stayed 1 night. Had all we needed, very nice, modern BR, jacuzzi tub w/shower. Our room was on street side that seemed to be the main drag in town, very busy, noisey, no a/c so needed to leave window open at night (noise issue), slanted ceiling to be aware of when getting out of bed but room was very nice, had all we needed, comfy bed. Nice restaurant for dinner & pub in front for more casual dining. Breakfast was nice. If you prefer quiet, small village atmosphere, this is not the place to stay but I can recommend it depending on your taste.

A short stopover was very pleasant
We stopped here on our way back from Italy, it looked a very pretty town. The room was lovely, clean and tidy and great value for money. Sadly we were quite late arriving so had already eaten before we arrived, so can't comment on the main restaurant. The breakfast was simple but nice.

Happy visit
Very handy location just off A4. A little noisy from traffic but not too bad. Restaurant was popular with locals and visitors, so best to book in advance. We did so and enjoyed our dinner. Local wine selection is good and not too pricey.

The hotel has opened a new room building which is opposite the original hotel. Staff are excellent, room ticked all the boxes and it's ideally located for bars & restaurants. This was my 3rd visit to this hotel & it won't be my last.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel. Room was lovely, modern and clean. Pastry shops are just round the corner. There's also delicisious kebab on the main street and pizzeria by the river. Would definitely go back.

On arrival at the hotel we were guided across the road to a new hotel building with very pleasing accommodation.The hotels Bistro/restaurant was very convenient and served a reasonable meal. The bonus was a wine shop which we also enjoyed!

Room needed more than one tiny wastebasket, a coffee pot or electric tea pot, housekeeping that knocked before walking in, a refrig and a microwave. Our room was above the restaurant area and was very noisy in the evening also quite smoky from the cigarette smokers standing at the front door. We were not expecting the car and scooter raises at night on the Main Street.

Fick ett rum på vinden, två långa trappor utan ledstänger. Den sista trappan hade korta steg så det var svårt att gå i den. Rummet var inte ok. Maten var god, jag är allergisk och talade om för servitrisen om det, men ändå var det produkter som jag inte kan äta, så jag blev sjuk på natten. Rummet som vi hade låg en bit ifrån restaurangen. Frukost var i ett hus mitt emot restaurangen. Utsikten från rummet var ett ruckel av en gammal lada och ladugård och trasiga tak.
