Ashley - thank you for being our guest! I am surprised by your comment on our hot tub, as we drain the hot every week during the summer months, and chemicals are balanced typically 3x's week. We have photos before and after your stay, and the hot tub was in perfect condition. Since we didn't hear from you during your stay, if you could please send us a photo of what was of concern, we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your feedback, Denise. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. I just wanted to explain the foil on the grill. Since this is a vacation home, please understand not everyone takes care of the grill the same way, and without foil, the grills break down quickly if not properly cleaned after use. We were running into issues with caked on grease, which led to concerns of grease fires, and additional cleaning time for our cleaners. After replacing the grill multiple times in one year, we now ask guests to simply use foil when they grill, which we line ahead of time, and provide additional foil in the pantry (located in the laundry room). We do have ceiling fans in almost every room of the house, and stand-alone fans in the other rooms (found in the corresponding closet of that room). The shower head issue has never been mentioned, but we will test and evaluate that immediately. That's an easy fix - thank you!

Well, gosh, I don't know quite what to say! :) We take a great deal of pride in our home, and are constantly adding new furniture and decor (as recent as last week). In the past year, we've added a hot tub, new deck/patio area, completely new living room set (sofa, love seat, chairs), all new bedding, additional outdoor furniture, new beds upstairs, etc, and until your review, have received nothing but compliments on those efforts. We strive to provide a great experience for our guests, so I do apologize if we let your group down in some capacity.. You are the first person to imply our listing may be misleading, and I'm sorry if you feel that's the case. We try to be as transparent as possible, and I can't see anything on our listing that isn't true. If anything, we have even more new furniture, bedding/textiles, and decorative items just from the last 2 weeks that haven't even been shown in photos yet. Yikes on the Comfort Inn reference! :) Even small details like new spice jars and personalized gift baskets for our guests, certainly do not seem in line with a amenities (or lack thereof) found at a Comfort Inn. This is a 2400 sq foot home with 4 spacious bedrooms, including a downstairs master & en suite, bonus room, open concept downstairs, and private pool, all in one of the most popular areas of San Antonio, just across from Sea World. Our price point for these amenities falls far below many other vacation homes in popular areas of San Antonio, as well. We are disappointed you weren't fully pleased with your stay, and will continue to take your comments to heart.
