We stayed in the Family Studio Suite, which was very nice, but required going down 75 steps (yes, I counted...), which was hard since I have problems with my knees. The only other down side was that the hot water was sporatic, which I sort of expected after reading other reviews. “Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. “They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans.
Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”
