Great Location, But Disappointed With Cleanliness and Communication
The location by Mission Bay was excellent, and the home had an updated look. Beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable. Beach gear was a plus! Unfortunately, the cleanliness overall was disappointing, especially for the price we paid. The living room rug was stained, the furniture was uncomfortable, and our 9-month-old had black hands and feet after crawling on the floors. There was no cleaner or bucket for the mop. We had to buy Swiffer wet pads ourselves (no dry ones were provided either). Mopping with Swiffer was quick and easy, and made floors clean for baby - something property managers clearly overlooked, and we shouldn’t be doing walking into the space on our vacation.The listing included a high chair and pack-n-play—major factors in choosing this property—but they weren’t in the unit. I called and was told these were available for an additional fee, which doesn’t match what we understood from the amenities list. I requested the high chair and was told someone would follow up, but no one ever did.Also, there was no laundry detergent, even though instructions suggested some would be provided. Communication was heavy on paperwork but light on responsiveness when it actually mattered. We were really looking forward to this trip and left feeling let down. We love San Diego and will definitely return, but we’ll stay somewhere else next time.
