The waiting staff at breakfast worked incredibly hard. My complaint is about the fact the hotel charged a deposit of 20 euros and then 1 euro.50 per day for a safe key !! Which I declined . Also I do think complimentary bottled water and tissues should be provided in the rooms

This was our return visit whist explaining La Gomera and although the hotel is still undergoing some building work it didn’t effect our stay. The room was newly refurbished and a the balcony had great view over the Main Street. San Sebastián is an easy place to walk round from the hotel. Breakfast was included and the staff refreshed items quickly my one small complaint was the toaster which didn’t work giving out so little heat there was no danger of injury or burning bread. Definitely a hotel to consider.

Good central location. The bright room had a lovely view of the park. There was renovation work being carried out on the ground floor, which meant there was only a temporary reception, no bar or cafe, and the restaurant had less atmosphere than it otherwise would have done. There was no noise from the work, so it did not disturb us.

Great Pkace
Nice, comfortable hotel with great reception staff. The hotel is near the bus station and the ferry port. The hotel is in the center of town surrounded by good restaurants, friendly bars and the beach. Great for everybody.

We chose this hotel for overnight stay after arrival on the ferry. We knew it as we were based there with a group for a week last year. It is within walking distance of the port, the reception is open late and there are nearby restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful and good buffet breakfast included in the price. Rooms are fine - clean and adequate. Our room did not have a window, but was away from street and quiet, which was fine for an overnight stay. Good value for money.

Would stay again!
Great hotel. Wonderful service. I booked a bigger room because I was also working from my room and wanted ample sunlight. I was very comfortable. The internet went out once for 10-15 minutes. The breakfast was just ok compared to other hotels but I still managed to have a fine start to the day. Terrific location!

Great central location, easy walking distance to all of town's amenities. On the other hand we couldn't get our car parked close to the hotel though that said there was a free car park about a five minute walk from the hotel.

Simple and Centrally located
You can’t be closer to San Sebastián centre, walking to the ferry is about 6 minutes, we were able to park there throughout our stay. Walk to all interesting areas of downtown. Bed was comfortable, can hear noises from within the hotel, adjacent rooms. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, gsm, cheese, pastries and yogurt, great coffee machine. Nice service. Check in with Macarena was very kind! I’ll stay here again

Good hotel in centre of town
Good hotel in the centre of town. Room overlooking park (had to pay upgrade). Breakfast included which was enough for us to eat some and take some away for lunch. Room was nice and a good size bathtub.

You cant drive a car with your luggage to the hotel but it is ok if bland. Interestingly old fashioned actually. Breakfast was disappointing.

The superior double was very spacious but as a couple we were disappointed that it had a single and a SMALL double in the room. Beds very typical Spanish - perfectly fine but basic.

Booked because of the location near the ferry and bus as well as town with its shops and restaurants. Hotel exceeded expectations. Would return as San Sebastian is a great location to explore La Gomera because all the buses start from there.

Very nice hotel

OK for a night
Difficult to access unless you are on foot. We asked for a quite room we had one on the third floor but next to a srairwell reaching down to a banqueting suite and there was a function taking place. Very noisy as sound echoed up the well and it was if we were in the same room. They could have given us a room at the other end of the corridor, as such this tells us a lot about meeting customers needs.

Nice Hotel, but a few changes would make it great.
Upon arrival, it would have been nice to have been greeted with a "Welcome to ......" rather than a cursory "We will need to see your passports". Similarly, there was no "Thank you for staying with us" at the end. The bedrooms were fine, although ours had a 3/4-size bed and a single bed. I'm not sure who they were catering for here - who will use the 3/4 bed, except for one person? For a hotel which must have a sizeable percentage of English visitors, it was most odd to find the room TV had about 40 channels, 38 of which were in Spanish, and 2 in German. There was no means for English visitors to catch up on news, etc, despite the Canaries being popular with English travelers. Not that there was anywhere comfortable to sit in the room to watch TV - some chairs had been provided, but they obviously weren't made for adults to sit on - see attached photo of our small cabin-bag sitting on a seat which appears to have been made for two, but served no purpose except to put a bag on. I tried sitting on it for ten seconds, but that was enough! There was plenty of space where a decent chair could be placed in which you might relax and, so why not provide something comfortable for guests instead of this item of torture? Apart from that, we enjoyed our time on La Gomera, and the hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the town.

Met all needs
Very convenient for an overnight stay when we had to catch the first ferry in the morning. Impressed at the effort made to provide us with a vegetarian meal - even had a set menu as well as individual choices - and it was a good one, based on local products. We didn't take advantage of it, but were surprised and pleased that we could have had an early morning coffee/toast at 6am.

Hotel is ok but struggles to make 3 stars - small room and the double bed ordered turned out to be a twin. The bathroom had a minor infestation. Cheap and adequate. Breakfast quite good value. A bit noisy at times.

When we arrived we were told we didn't have a room booked? We had changed the booking by one night. They had the cancellation but not the new booking even though we had comformation? The lady was helpful & sorted a disabled room out for us eventually. Unsure where the confusion was. If with the hotel or you hotel.com? Al sorted in the end so grateful as nice hotel close to the town.

WiFi in room didn't work
This hotel advertised on Expedia that there was free WiFi in the rooms, and I booked on that basis. However, nowhere in the room was I able to get a strong enough signal to connect. Fortunately there was an ethernet socket and I had a cable with me. Also, the book of rules in the room said that the accommodation contract could be voided for persons of 'appearance or clothing unusual'! I hope this was a poor translation, but anyway I must have passed their threshold. Apart from those things, the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice roof terrace. Great evening meals in the hotel restaurant, even on the half board option which limits the choice to two or the starters, mains and desserts. The gofio cream desert was fabulous.
